Green needs W's - VanHockeyGuy
I wonder if Jim called him in the office because some of his blending looks pretty desperate. |

Wouldn't be surprised. But, like Carol said, it's also on the heels of their worst effort/loss of the season, and feels like it's been in a steady slide, so maybe just trying to get sparks going. |

I got tired of grey hair so I went to my stylist and asked for the Jim Benning. She sent me to the shoe shine place next store. |

Hope so . I think every team goes through slumps and some of the teams slumping this year are quite surprising such as TB Tor Buf Nash SJ |

lol wut
As much as poop on Edler, there’s a reason why coaches play Edler big minutes at 5v5 and top PK and it’s not because he’s like Hughes back there
If Benn was better defensively than Edler he’d be getting more minutes
Myers is gonna play the same way unless the coaches specifically tell him not to - Nucker101
You really misread that didn't you. |

why would Myers play more offensively with Benn compared to Edler? I don't understand that guy's logic at all.
I know it wasn't your quote btw |

As it said with "stay at home defencemen" Benn.
Edler is better than Benn overall but Benn doesn't go off on an adventure nearly as much as Edler. Allowing Myers to be the adventure'e, instead of having to hang back and wait for the puck to ricochet off the defenders shin pads out of the zone. |

Not sure which games you're watching but Edler plays pretty conservatively at 5v5, I don't really seem him going on many "adventures"
That's why his offense is pretty PP dependant |

Agreed. Outside of OT, I can't remember the last time he lead a rush or pinched below the hashmarks. It's pretty rare |

Ben Hutton is also a legit top 4 D man in the NHL on a nightly basis on a competitive team. Now that we have the sarcasm out of the way.
Edler has 14 points this season and only 5 of them are on the PP.
Edler is the teams best defender. He's also the reason the team can go from so good to so bad. Consistency has NEVER been a strong suit for him.
Can Edler play 25 minutes a night sure. Should he, IMO not unless he absolutely (frank)en has too.
Myers and Edler are sort of the same. They are big, people think they are beasts because they are big but they only play that way sometimes. They score about 30-40 points a season. They both aren't good enough to take on other teams top lines nightly. |

About time they got Baertschi out of the lineup. His stick is where offense goes to die. |

None of this has to do with the original point about Benn being better defensively |

4-2 Nashville, with an EN. Canucks play better defensively but makes for a very boring game |
