But he has added to team losses. His inability to play a regular shift, contribute offensive or defensively is a liability when the score is tied, or the team is behind. He is stapled to the bench, requiring other players to play more. This, in turn, leads to a fatigue factor in the other players during the course of the game, and the following games (especially when everyone seems to think the team has a brutal schedule, back to back games, etc..)

What % would you say roll out in HD? I’ve heard various people discuss it and it’s really the main reason I don’t bother. I couldn’t stand watching the center ice feeds, if it’s more of that they can keep it.

The roku is still a good, cheap way to stream. Sadly the hockeystreams guy is in prison and thus ended a few great seasons of CHL, AHL, IIHF and NHL all in one place for a low low price.

Not to mention when they threw in the occasional ppv fight, wrestling or mma. Was a good ride.

I remember when I used to get Center Ice. I hated that about half of the games were SD with black bars on the sides. I wrote to the NHL. I'm glad to hear that they still haven't fixed it yet.

I stopped getting center ice because none of the games are in high def. its unwatchable

I have Apple TV, PS4, and Fire TV. All have NHL.TV on them. Your Firestick should be fine. If it initially doesn't look good, pause, let it buffer a bit and then press play.

Unbelievable that they are still rolling out SD games in 2019, this was the first year I was off of it.

when i had it they only had one game a night on the HD feed which was usually a 7pm game. it absolutely sucked. so happy NBCSports came out with an app.

damn. I guess you can't mess with the NHL and the money they have. He was really brazen about it, i mean you could stream it on Roku so obviously it wasn't a secret.

I was reading where Nashville is actively shopping Turris. He has been a dud this season and last. What about a straight up trade for Voracek. Both are 30 with 4years left on their deals. Jake makes 2.25 mil more per year which Nashville could fit under their cap.

I found the best way to watch was on the PS4 if you have one. You can use the buttons to jump right to the beginning of each period and bypass a lot of junk if you are not watching it live which I rarely do. The others (Fire TV, Apple TV) don't have that functionality.

I read it as basically bubble teams that win are luckier than bubble teams that lose. Good teams don’t routinely leave it to a few chance plays. I could be off base, just skimmed.

That's really the point then isn't it? It goes back to my point about when games are close, one goal or one play can go the wrong way. If you're a good team, your margin of error is greater. Which goes back to the original point that the Flyers have had a number of games that could've easily gone the other way based on one play. They have to be better and get more consistent. They have to find a way to score more goals.
