Florida has been a pretty mediocre non playoff team in recent years. The Flyers have won one season series against them in the past 5years and were beat soundly last game. So until they can beat teams convincingly and multiple times, yeah it could be a measuring stick sad as it sounds.

Yeah I'm not trying to make Florida the measuring stick. I'm just saying that if the Flyers won all 82 games in a shootout, who gives a (frank)? We're 21 games in, would I like them to win more games in regulation? Sure, but just in case of a tie breaker in points. If they get in the playoffs though, I'm not really worried about whether they had more ROW than a non-playoff team.
