Agreed. Wilson probably the only big guy in the league who can fight and fit in on the top 6. Has a good skill set. - nyrangers2
I think I actually read somewhere last night or the night before that he doesn't have a single fight this season. Not trying to invalidate your point, I was just impressed by that. He seems to have cleaned up his act quite a bit. |

Well he did fight last night. Surprising that he wouldn't have any fighting majors before that one. |

No that's not what I meant, I guess I kind of fused two thoughts into one poorly-worded comment. I was just saying I was impressed that he hasn't fought (before last night at least) and, separately, that he seems to have cleaned up his act. |

He's kind of turned himself into a (when he was good when he was younger) Milan Lucic where he's big, decent speed and hands & very tough. He still has that a$$hole streak in him but he's less reckless than previous seasons. Let's see if it lasts, remember when for half a season Matt Cooke cleaned up his act only to relapse into a total POS soon later again. |

Fair. I still think he's out there looking to take out opposing players though |

Great moment at the game last night. This young fella was sitting behind me and I saw the whole setup happen. They did a great job of making him feel like he was randomly picked for the contest. None of us had any idea. Here's what they didn't mention -> the kid is an out of control Islanders fan and was trolling us for the entire first period . They told him they were going to ask him some general hockey trivia and I gave him a little pep talk before he left, I told him that he isn't an Islanders fan for this moment, he is a hockey fan and he'd better represent!!
Friends and I were a little buzzed and when his dad came out we were tearing up like a bunch of teenage girls. |

For saying "I drove past a car wreck today and thought of Tanner"
Didn't think calling him a car wreck was cause for a ban.....oops. Lol |

Wow. That’s NHL referee soft. Makes me feel better about my ban, though! I tend to get a little more for my money. |

He's a little touchy given what a dumpster fire the Leafs are ATM with cap hell taking a nice firm grip on them. Just remember, in 2 years, their cup drought eclipses ours. |

I'm around that many as well. I think I had one with Dundee, the rest with Tanner. |

I hope theirs does, It would be so nice for them to hold that mantle. Longest Cup drought for an Original Six franchise. |

Not this time around, but every once in a while Tanner makes a statement so unbelievably stupid that I am not able to resist the urge... |
