He's about to turn us from a 105 point team to a sub-90 point team in only 2 years. I'm surprised there hasn't been that much anger towards him from the media. |

You like to cite this statistic - and I'm not disputing the accuracy in some ways - but what do you think happened? What do you think should have been different? The change in physicality is very minor. Basically you've lost Kadri & Brown and brought in Mikheyev and Kerfoot in terms of physical differences. Mikheyev is not that different than Brown. Kadri's physicality has always been overblown.
Out:
Kadri
Brown
Marleau
Ennis
Gardiner
Hainsey
Zaitsev
Ozhiganov
Rosen
Sparks
In:
Kerfoot
Mikheyev
Spezza
Timashov
Shore
Barrie
Ceci
Kaskisuo
To me they are just not meshing, not playing well, not playing to their strengths - but it's not reflective of Dubas' strictly changing physicality. |

He could've gone whichever way he wanted. I'm just saying and stating the facts, he took a 105 point team (fact) and turned it into a sub-90 point team (calculated speculation on my part) in only 2 seasons. |

Because Dubas somehow plays the games and is on the ice and coaches the bench and strategies?? Think you give too much credit there to Dubas. |

In that timeline he's turned over about 75% of the roster to be fair. If we are to allow a GM to escape a certain level of blame, I'm not sure this is the scenario to do so. |

Agreed, and thinking he absolutely wanted to do this after last season but Shanny I think was the one buying a second chance on Babs.
As for letting Dubas skate.... Im not. I don't think any of the guys gone were not the right move. Has he brought in the right people? Hard to say given Babs was a certain way. Now it is on him and I did like he and Shanny being on the same page and also stating outright if need be they will address and adjust as they go too. They are not being stubborn and locked in to one way.
I think Dubas is now on the hotseat to get it turned about and done. Make changes as needed and make it happen, but I think now it IS his team and all too. |

In 2011 the Tampa Bay Lightning made the Conference Finals. In 2015 they made the Stanley Cup Finals. In between the two they finished 28th in 2013. |

Tough spot for Keefe to come into. Pressure is going to be on to get the team back in the playoff picture.
I sounds like Duby wanted to turn the page on Babs after last season ended.
Now he gets his way and boy its going to be interesting to see it play out - senstroll
Lots of time, it's not like were miles from the 2nd wild card....now winning the Pres Trophy...that would be a feat. |

Tanners already got a blog up about firing Keefe for leaving Ceci on the top pairing. |

If we all could see in the future like Max, we’d be 1/2 as smart as him.

Imo. Hindsite of course, we should have tried to keep Hainsey for another year...maybe he signs again cheaper to stay with an awesome team...people say he sucked and he did have his moments, but we got the results when he was here, some will call it lucky but whatever, we won lots of games with him on the top pair. |
