I'm no expert ... but two extended family members passed away from the impacts vascular dementia ...

also quite young - one in his 50s the other early 60s... and in both cases this form of dementia progresses very very quickly...

horrible

- BorjeFan4Ever

It is a horrible disease. My grandparents both suffered from it when they hit 80 and it headed down hill fast.

Luckily we are putting a lot of research into it...they are finding and learning a lot about the disease. While a lot of it is genetics there is a lot you can do throughout your life time to help. Snowflakes are good for something

Get your blood pressure checked folks. Vascular dementia is way too common in this day and age.

Throw in the odd joke. Yes.

I'd recommend not putting it in every single post.

The way we talk about people and being an ally is one of the most basic things one can do to make sure we're constructing a more inclusive society.

The Sens are one point behind the Leafs with a game in hand...wtf
- Symba007

I saw that too. Then, quickly realized, the Leafs have a new coach. So. No problem, obviously quite temporary.

Treat people like people and don't let bigots feel comfortable being bigots. Pretty easy.

In Russia people can be part of an inclusive society without having to tell the rest of the country about their sexual preferences.
No person in Russia is being thrown in jail for being gay.
