I would love to see how large the gap is between the Penguins and the rest of the NHL in terms of man-games lost.

Schultz has a 10 team no trade list. Not sure if he submits upon request or sometime in the summer. Different contracts have different stipulations

Who knows where he, his agent, and his GM are at but from his perspective would he welcome a trade? Idk. I believe he lives there with his GF, his buddy Olli is gone but I’m sure he’s friends with other guys on the team, maybe he would take a discount but maybe he just wants a big pay day and is willing to leave

I can’t imagine GMJR would be looking to extend him amidst his current state of play

Trading Schultz isn't in the best interests of this team, at the moment. That will come closer to trade deadline day. As far as his contract negotiations go he is a tough negotiator. I think he goes to free agency.

On another note, this team has three perennial all stars. Malkin, Crosby and Letang, this team can and has succeeded when one of them goes down. It is whole different ballgame when two go down. Obviously no team can strive when something like this happens. I just think it is worth noting this fact. I know we have talked about it before but it is worth repeating.

The truth is Dahlin is having a horrible season and is bringing like everyone down. The kid is having trouble and thinking it's his partners is kind of foolish.

With that said, if there is any truth to the sabres wanting to move on from Miller, I would be all over that.

Also Seattle is going with an analytical approach so Babcock is a terrible fit there.
