I think Monday the Athletic released an article questioning if its time for Flames to explore trading him since the current mix of players arent getting it done. Prob the only rumblings Sam heard/saw

No it isnt. Their job is to play hockey. It is a career. They get paid a lot of money as a star player to preform. If I dont preform at my job I get demoted same thing applies to an NHL player. He was demoted to 3rd line and he did not improve. The next step in the demotion is to sit in the pressbox. After that you look into AHL demotion, trade or buyout. NHL is one of few sports that have guaranteed contracts for their players. Most other sports allow teams to just cut guys which is being fired. NHL is unionized.

The only thing that is ridiculous is the fact you keep fighting me on this. But you will continue and continue to fight it because thats what you do. You make general lazy retorts over and over again until the person who argues with you gives up.

I don't see how +/- is a terrible stat. It doesn't tell the entire story, but if a player is on the ice for a ton of goals against he's part of the problem. What about the faceoff %?

Offensive side of the puck, he's been non competitive outside a handful of games. 5 of his 8 points came in a 3 game stretch.

FO% literally means nothing for offense or defense. Faceoffs are a skill that has no bearing on how well you play in any zone
