They had to plug him in for a couple hours for an update.

Time for a pregame nap

I stayed up extra late last night to watch Knights/Leafs and was not disappointed when I got to watch him take one of his signature pissbaby temper-tantrum stick penalties which led directly to a VGK PP goal

Yeah he’s gripping the stick a bit tight. He didn’t have a shot I think for the first forty minutes😂

The dream of being a leaf is now a nightmare seriously he went to his hometown where it's a pressure cooker and everyone knows who you are everywhere you go (not just creepy guy in a flower shop). I'd imagine that can really get to you where as in the states people dont know you nearly as well and you can at least be somewhat anonymous.

I posted many times he does not have the personality for Toronto and was better off in San Jose. JT being captain of any team especially the Leafs is not a good fit. JT wants to just play offense and has little interest in defense or being a real leader.

San Jose doesn't have the 15% tax break on the bonus. It was never going to happen.

To be fair, I'm a creepy guy everywhere. My creepiness is not limited to just the florist.

Pretty funny. They're only two points out of a playoff spot. It's not like they're out of it.

They've also played more games than anyone else in the East, save for the Caps and Red Wings who have the same amount of GP as TOR (23). Isles have the fewest at 19.

I get they aren't living up to expectations, but there's a lot of season left. They sound like we did when we were having a 15+ game losing streak under Crappy.

You have to think they’ll get it together at least to some extent at some point. I mean I hope they actually get worse I just don’t think it’ll happen but a guy can dream.

Me too. If only to keep the leaf fans quiet. It would be nice if they kept tanking and they made some dumb panic/desperation move.

You have to think the Leafs will get it together but outside of something drastic, this team does not seem to be a serious Cup threat.

If any team would make a desperation move it would be them. For those who want to troll them go right ahead. Those cack suckers would never respect the fact that you didn’t and they’d be here the moment we started losing. Believe me when I tell you none of them would be like, “well they left us alone while we were crapping the bed so leave them alone.” Never happen.

God knows they deserve it for the last two years😂😂😂

No definitely not they have some holes. I never considered them a serious contender. Playoff team yeah but not a legit contender. Their core is still young and learning. If they fill in those holes and keep their young core together they can be in a couple of years.

I'm expecting a lot of trolls stopping by as soon as the Isles lose 2 in a row.

The funny thing is that their games are rather different. Sure they both hustle, but Beau is more about speed, and Tonelli was more of a bull......about winning battles for pucks, being strong on the puck, etc.

- JohnScammo

Watch him in the corners and his relentless puck pursuit. Very Tonelli like.

Outside of the lack of D and toughness, the Leafs do not seem to have the mindset to win a Cup. JT alone does not seem to be the type to do what it takes to win.

That site you posted a while back about Stanley Cup percentages has the Islanders number one at 18%.
