was just reading that.. terrible. Hope he gets the help he needs.. if I am not mistaken he had a very troubling childhood. think he wrote about it in Player's tribune once about how much his mother meant to him and hiding from abusive father..etc. (I think that was him.. if not I'll correct).

He played ok.. but did not look great. Got his taste.. now go get your shine box and earn your way back.
MDC has to be on a short leash at this point. If they are ok sending Ladd down they have to start thinking about sending him too. He has not been noticeable in a good way for a while. took a terrible penalty last night. gave the puck away a few times during a solid shift in the O-zone..etc. - niteislander
He did take a bad penalty but I honestly think he has looked pretty good the last few games. I’ll go as far to say he was one of our better players against the Leafs. |

It was him. I have a couple friends that grew up playing roller hockey with him with the Mission 99'ers and said he used to show up to practices with his mom who had two black eyes and stuff like that. He had a bunch of Federal Marshals kick his door down and drag his dad off to prison when he was a kid. He definitely had a (frank)ed up childhood, I hope he gets the help he needs. |

Brock won 70% of his face offs last night.. none bigger than the 3 in a row in the final 3 minutes. - niteislander

I have also had a massive Beau-ner lately
I loved last night when Burke said we had "transitioned from Brocktober to Beauvember" - eichiefs9
Good time to be an Islanders Fan.
I said it before but Beau reminds me of Tonelli with his hustle and tenacity! |

The funny thing is that their games are rather different. Sure they both hustle, but Beau is more about speed, and Tonelli was more of a bull......about winning battles for pucks, being strong on the puck, etc. |

Yeah I don’t find them that comparable either. Didn’t want to burst his bubble.😂😉
I’m assuming he’s finding them similar because of their tenacity. |

I think Beau is doing a lot of that too though... just playing like a man on fire out there.. love it. |

If he can be this kind of player going forward I think you gotta pretty much take the idea of trading him and throw it in the garbage, save for some highly-unlikely mega-trade. |

At this point, Beau seems to be a keeper. Hopefully Bailey continues this play in case you need to move him in the offseason. |

Agreed. As most know on here I was pretty bearish on Beau. He was always good in spurts his issue was always consistency hopefully he keeps it up. |

The thing with him is that, even when he's not necessarily producing, he's always out there busting his ass flying around at full-speed. I can live with a guy that's hustling and playing well if he's not producing. But oh man, if he can keep up the offense like this then we have a real solid top-6 wing on our hands. |

I agree with the hustling part but as I mentioned before Beau to me in the past like last season wasn’t getting much done when he wasn’t scoring imo. Now he’s good on both sides of the puck consistently I didn’t see that before this season. He had a tendency to skate the puck into the opposing teams zone. Get pinned against the boards. Then cough up the puck. |

Yes, it's a lock. They already won, we just have to wait for it to occur. |
