Was on his way to becoming a solid 2/3 d-man. I remember the Phaneuf hit. Brutal but clean. |

How many is this for him?
I can't believe Okposo has another one, too. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he hangs them up because of this, he had an absolutely brutal recovery the last time around. - eichiefs9
Zib I think might be up to 4-5 |

Jan I don't think I have ever really disagreed with you before but keeping Mika and Panarin apart and leaving Strome isn't a strong disagree but lets not forget who our number 1 player was until he got hurt! Panarin Mika and Kakko sounds like a very good line to me. Whether or not Stome is on it the next question would be do you want to break up the Kreider Chytil Buch line? mostly meaning Chytil. So then where would Mika or Strome play on 2 nd or third line?
I personally really didn't want to break up our second line but we really need scoring from all lines with a fast punch Caps coming to town!
Panarin Mika and Kakko
Kreider Strome or Chytil and Buch
Lemieux Chytil or Strome and Fast

Jan, I have to disagree on one point, as well.
I forgot, since I generally agree with all you have to report...
But, you can't put it on Quinn that players are taking bad penalties. It's not like he's telling them to trip and hold and slash guys as a part of the defensive strategy.
Believe me, as a coach there is nothing more frustrating than watching players go out there and repeatedly do things you are saying you never want to see.
He can't play their shifts for them. They have to take responsibility for their own actions. |

I always want to ask these people if they realize the kid has to live with that name. You might think you are cool coming up with a ridiculous name but your kid is going to be tormented you self centered (frank)s. |

I have advocated to put Strome on the wing on the top line. Don’t think I have said take Mika off a line with Panarin. If I have, then my mistake. I know the drum beat has started to put Kakko on the top line, which I get. But I would leave him where he is for now. The KCB should remain intact, though we could see Kakko and buck swap spots. |

Coach has to make the players accountable. He did so by benching Buch and Haley. But eight penalties Thursday and the four yesterday combined with prior issues and the coach in my opinion needs to be somewhat accountable. But I agree with you that the majority of the accountability sits with the players. |
