Bahaha. Meltzer moment. But, but, I found a 5-year old article, that was full of holes, and talking about how an individual defenseman doesn't have a big impact on save percentage. Somehow that led to the belief that DEFENSE (aka, a system followed by 5 committed skaters) doesn't have much of an impact on save percentage. And I'm the one accused of not thinking. This is pure gold.

Please respond to the comment from a very reliable source I posted about how a goalies SV% and GAA is also dependent on the team play in front of him. I'm interested in talking hockey.
