They did. That goal at the end of the second was ridiculous.

I think they allowed a goal 15 times this season in the last 2 min of a period. In what, 19 games played?

Avg of 37.5 shots against with Kinkaid in net. They don't play very well in front of him. His numbers don't accurately represent how well he's done. 4 points of a possible 8 in the games he's played too.

He has not played great in every start, but he did deserve much better tonight.

I just get the feeling of no real confidence in a back-up again this year, if this continues. And I am not sure it is really Kinkaid's fault, either.

This game was more corrupt than the game in Philly, hope the lost points in these rigged games don't cost us at the end of the year

They don't bother hiding it but you'll have to try harder Gary!

He just needs one convincing win. That's all it really takes as a goalie, and for a team to gain trust in a goalie. It's just tough when you play so rarely. Tonight, his team let him down on the powerplay with a breakaway and 2 on 1 back to back.

Something has to give for backups for this team. Having a good backup makes such a huge difference. Bruins vs Leafs record the past few seasons is perfect example.

Refs were bad, but not conspiracy against the Montreal Canadiens bad.

Also, Habs win this game if they don't let NJ score a shorty. They had this game.

I blame Max Domi losing his poop more than any Ref conspiracy.

Both teams likely deserved those penalties, and more - surprisingly, they let a lot of stuff pass (like the clear Mete interference late in the 3rd).

I blame the announcers flaunting that Max Domi went 29 straight games without taking a penalty. They caused this, not Domi.

Blaming the refs is a loser's mentality and I'll never respect the argument. It's (frank)ing weak. Refs are by no means perfect but if you blame them you're ignoring the fact that the team didn't do enough to win, plain and simple. Kinkaid got hung out to dry and essentially abandoned. I was happy to see the Habs put themselves in a position to potentially win but on the whole, there were reasons this game was lost and I'd rather address those.

Also, as an aside...if you're going to be a douche and constantly troll the Leafs thread...step up your troll game, it's (frank)ing weak. If you're going to do it learn to do it well

Let’s be honest, it’s not like Domi is playing well tho.

He better start waking up cause he’s making others playing badly cause of him.

Stop being Galchenyuk and play like Domi used too!!
