nylander's deal is the best of the 3. he's already worth his cap hit and it'll just look better as time goes on. matthews and marners contracts are turds. marner 'cause he's overpaid, matthews because the term is too short.

IMO

I like Nylanders and Matthews. Even in a poopty time those two are playing awesome.

Marners makes me cry a little.

Matthews even landed a few hits last night, I like Willie when he has the puck...but without it...I usually want to puke.

Hyman in his first game in 7 months got more usage than Matthews. That tells you everything you need to know.

Matthews plays 21 minutes ONCE (Draisaitl is AVG 25 EVERY game this season) Babs says "He playec him way too much" and cuts his TOI by 5 FREAKING minutes the next game to 16,

WTF. How does any of this make sense?

Oh and he had 4 points with 21 minutes...

- RogerRoeper

4 garbage time assists! Woohoo!
Tack on another million to his next contract.

Willie's always been fun to watch. Saw him play for the first time in '13. Was a charismatic player even then. But to think he'll ever get tougher and drive the net... He's always gonna be a floater!

He drives the net as much, probably even more than Marner.

Some people hate him and it completely impairs their judgment on the guy.

I did not call the Nylander deal Great - that was some other donkey.

I'm merely pointing out that while many here want to blow smoke up Nylander's a__... probably to fluff his hair... if he gets to 70pts consistently during his deal - it still does not make the deal great.

Pastrnak's deal is great. Nylanders will be good IF he hits 70pts consistently - and ceases to directly hand the opposition a goal every single game.

Marner is an overpayment at 10.7 or whatever - but it wasn't I who described Nylander's deall as great....

'cause what idiot would do that?

Babs puts the 4th line on with 5 minutes left and down a goal. Keep the 60 pace goal guy on the bench!

You can't write this stuff

That's a penalty if a Leaf does that and it's a penalty if a Leaf sticks up for him.
That's why there isn't ever and retaliation.
