AM’s contract is justifiable when he is one of top 3 centres in the league, and Marner should be one of top 3 wingers. None of them are anywhere near that... at least not yet.

I'd say Matthews is earning his contract. Debatable for Nylander, he's a quality player and on place for 60-70 pts, not bad. Marner is not earning it yet.
