I don't know and I don't care. I said I didn't like the way Don said what he said. Doesn't mean I don't support what he was trying to say. We have a tradition in Canada that on/around remembrance day you wear a poppy in a show support for the veterans that allow us living in Canada our freedoms.

If you enjoy your freedom in Canada, you should probably wear a poppy in support of that.

Bullpoop, the poppy system sucks. I didn't buy one this year for this first time maybe ever. I still found a way to contribute to the legion, and I made my young children watch war movies today because it was a holiday and I wanted them to understand why. The young one got it, war is scary and I don't ever want to do that. The older one understood the scale of death and misery.

I'm sick of buying a bunch of poppies every year and still not having one because the (frank)ing things fall off all of the time. There is a better way of doing things, we just have to move forward.

Yeah, sell quality poppies not this crap made in china, the pin on my poppy bent in half trying to go through fleece.

Canada hasnt been in a war for a noble cause in generations. It's hard for someone my age to even understand what the poppy is about now. Today wars for corporations get labeled fighting for democracy. Except democracy gets most eroded by the various lobbies pushing for conflict and protecting the war propaganda narratives these days. Censorship and jail for blowing the whistle on war crimes. Travel bans for your personal opinions your forefathers supposedly fought for the right to have. It's out of control.

D is struggling with offence & zone exits of late. Lack a top 6 winger. Secondary scoring will be a season long challenge.
