I just checked his MHL stats. You came up with those projected points off of a 2 game sample size.
- boonerbuck
How else would I project? Make up a random number?
85 points in 11 games if he played in the MHL all season. as a second line defender even. He's just that good. |

Xennial I am. This also proves that i'm not a millennial. I think what he said is probably true, not the way he should have said it but oh well.
Face facts, you come to Canada, you aren't asked to know about our traditions or even adhere to them because in Canada you can be what you were in your previous country.
You don't adopt a culture when you come to Canada. - manvanfan
You are either very ignorant or a dumb sh!t if you aren't aware of how hard immigrants work to fit in to this country. Our culture one of diversity and inclusiveness, if anything those immigrants need more support to be able to keep their own traditions and culture alive while they contribute to our country.

Bo played 54 games in the OHL. Podz played in the in 3 different leagues including the KHL and a couple of elite tournaments in his draft year. Apples and oranges - VANTEL
Apples and oranges... You were making the player comparison and I split the apples and oranges. |

I agree with Minivan. - VanHockeyGuy
Shocker. I fully came on this board expecting90% of you to be complaining/defending one of the most bigoted people ever to have a job on TV. French, Russian, immigrant- if you aren’t from Ontario and play hockey or in the military, he’s got some poopty opinions about you that you’ll hear about. How that dinosaur stayed on the air so long is just a testament to how common those opinions are. |

How does the MHL compare to the CHL leagues though, it’s probably closer to the BCHL, no?
Edit: omg you’re referencing a 2 game sample size, carry on |

You want to fit in why not put a poppy on? What better way to fit in then to follow a tradition?
So I guess what you are saying is that coming to Canada means you aren't and don't really need to be Canadian? So why the (frank) would those people care what happened to Canada to give them their current freedom? |

2 game sample. No one takes a season projection from 2 games serious enough to use it in an argument. Noted though... elite in his 2 MHL games. 2 points per game.

The path they take to reach the pro levels are apples and oranges. Does not refer to playing style. |

What a train wreck. They know from experience but they put the bumbling fool up there to eventually disgrace himself in his final swan song season. It was bound to happen.

My wife had to study this poop to pass an exam for citizenship, while I “inherited” the knowledge.
Everyone celebrates and remembers in different ways. I’m not wearing a poppy, does that make me a “you people”? My grandfather was in the armed forces, died long before I was born. Don Cherry is a racist mother-f ucker, always has been. |

Should have fired him on the spot on Saturday.
I’m fact, as soon as those words came out of his mouth the producer should have killed the broadcast and cut to comercial. Then come back with someone else on air to apologize and go to some other analyst for the remainder of the segment. |

Do think Don orchestrated a survey of immigrants and whether they wore poppies or not or do you think he noticed some people that didn't look like him not wearing poppies and decided that meant immigrants don't support veterans?

I don't know and I don't care. I said I didn't like the way Don said what he said. Doesn't mean I don't support what he was trying to say. We have a tradition in Canada that on/around remembrance day you wear a poppy in a show support for the veterans that allow us living in Canada our freedoms.
If you enjoy your freedom in Canada, you should probably wear a poppy in support of that. |
