He's lost. He better not put LE back in. Pearson has his role covered to a T. When someone needs to be sent to Utica, LE should be #1 on the list.

My wife loves green bananas but I have actually never seen her eat one.

The green bananas probably jump out the window when you come home.

I'd consider it more like reassuring people that he is playing strong against his peers and others have struggled developing in the KHL but have become good NHLers. All true but this kid still has little natural finish. It can be taught I guess.

Great Coverage Carol,
By firing Don on Remembrance Day, they will make a martyr out of him and end up looking bad themselves.

Xennial I am. This also proves that i'm not a millennial. I think what he said is probably true, not the way he should have said it but oh well.

Face facts, you come to Canada, you aren't asked to know about our traditions or even adhere to them because in Canada you can be what you were in your previous country.

You don't adopt a culture when you come to Canada.

Podz is a Horvat clone but he checks.
- VANTEL

In 54 games, Horvat had 30 goals and 44 assists in his draft +1 against his own age group.

I'd say the two were completely different at this age. One is a checker and one is an offensive player.

For Bo, he is expected to do what he is done in the past. No excuses.

For Podz... he is expected to learn these skills that dont come naturally to live up to his draft position.

I'm more sure of Bo returning to the scorer role than I am of Podz learning to become one.

No I was more pointing out he doesn't gush he isn't like other talking heads who make grand claims, but he reiterated that he's been dominant against his peers and has great skills even if the points haven't come. Says the scouts he's talked still think highly of him and that teens in the KHL are not easy for fans to keep track of. Referenced both Kuznetsov and Tarasenko who were similar in that they were top 5 talents but dropped because of KHL commitments, like those 2 he thinks the wait will be worth it for Podz.

It all comes down to how he adjusts/learns in the AHL.

You do realize that if Podkolzin was playing in the MHL a group of his peers he'd have 50 points in 25 games at his current MHL pace.

What a bunch of tripe. Some of my best friends growing up were Chinese, philipino, lautian or haitian. While their parents certainly had different values, their kids growing up canadian effected how they live. I think the longer you are here, the more you embrace the values. Same as immigrating anywhere.

Juolevi blocked a shot with his upper-body on the PP early in the first Monday.

He just left the ice and went to the room.

I just checked his MHL stats. You came up with those projected points off of a 2 game sample size.

Bo played 54 games in the OHL. Podz played in the in 3 different leagues including the KHL and a couple of elite tournaments in his draft year. Apples and oranges
