I don't think he actually dislikes skin color , but I do think he is stupid. I think Booner said it best yesterday . It is too bad they left him out there too long and let him walk away in shame.

Maclean giving the thumbs up is equally as guilty as are the people at SN. That segment was recorded at 4 pm and aired at 5 pm. That should not have been allowed to be broadcast.

Just transition Ron to his own segment that airs every once in a while, let him run the hometown hockey and whatnot, and start a brand new bit. Going to be hard to replace "Coaches Corner" without the main guy.

Maybe true, but it was clear the league and refs wanted SF to go 9-0.

Multiple facemasks on Wilson missed and the 'leading with the helmet' calls against Seattle then SF does the exact same plays and no calls. Multiple PI calls missed on SF as well. Now I'm sure a few were missed on Seattle but still it was pretty clear. They sure got all the holding calls on Seattle but missed more than a few on SF as well

Is what it is. Was nice to see Wilson step up again AND beat the officials at the same time.

I don't think he has anything to apologize for. They, Sportsnet, should've always and only allowed him to speak about hockey in today's fair-weather society, they're just as much to blame for letting an 85 year old man speak his mind for the past several years on topics unrelated to hockey. Of all the controversial things he's said, this was one of the least offensive imo.

Only in Canada do we hold a sports commentator more accountable than our own Prime Minister.
