I wasn't even born there I have citizenship, but some of what's happening there is disconcerting. Not all bad, I imagine but- from my limited insight on the country- it doesn't seem like they're following a sustainable model.

The hypocrisy around the matter is certainly gross. However, if one stands in opposition to cancel culture, one should abide by the principle of not "cancelling" people for things they did 15 to 20 years ago. If not, you're left without much of a leg to stand on if "the mob" comes for you.

A special shout out to Sportsnet for firing Cherry on Remembrance Day. Taking the focus off what it should be about and making this the lead story.

Love him or hate him, Don was patriotic. He loved the men and women of the military and willingly gave of his time to them.

This was not an appropriate day to carry this out.
