The Leafs are not the only team with 14 (or more) back-to-back games this season, so I hardly think that the league has something against the Leafs, any more so than they do against PHI, PIT, CAR, CHI, CBJ, FLA, NJD, DAL, LAK, TBL, BUF, DET, MTL or OTT.

The issue is Leaf fans hear the NHl favours the Leafs constantly. The schedule and penalty calls say the opposite.

Penguin gutted one out. Hawks are playing better.

I doubt they playing well enough to beat the leaf. Nylander'll be impactful again. So far the team MVP of the season.

As a man of 62, I remember going to the cenotaph when I was in my teens. I remember talking to the World War 1 vets and hearing their account of gas warfare. How brutal the mustard gas attacks were and what it was like when the Canadians took Vimy Ridge. They were all gallant people who only had one goal. The defeat of tyranny and their fight for freedom.

Today, many have not had to experience a fight for free speech and freedom of expression. They willfully believe what Leftist University Professors and Politicians of all stripes tell them. In our schools, they don't teach allot of Canadian history anymore. The sacrifice, the determination of a common people to remain free. Too many young people and many who've migrated to Canada have little information about its founding. Whether you like Don Cherry, or not, he has a point about respect. What's left from our World War 2 and Korea Legions is a testament and a warning about future threats against our rights and freedoms. Those who choose to ignore it are doomed to repeat those awful lessons.

Now do how many times those teams are playing fresh teams and how many times it's 5 games in 8 nights..
Tonight it'll be 4 games in 6 nights, you tell me who has the advantage.

- bobbyisno1

The Blackhawks are playing their 6th game in 9 nights compared to the Leafs who are playing their 5th game in the same 9 nights.....therefore the advantage in tonight's game obviously goes to the Leafs!

When the American Revolution broke out, then King George III made a pact with the Natives. In those days, it was primarily Mohawk and Iroquois. Many people don't realize that the Natives (The Five Nations) fought on behalf of the British, in what was known as the Silver Chain of Friendship treaty. After the defeat of the British, the majority of these tribes migrated north with the United Empire Loyalists. The Mohawk and Iroquois were granted land in what is now Canada. They were also guaranteed education and no taxation, under their agreement with the British. It is a bit of a fallacy to believe that the white man stole their land. In reality, the two largest Native Reserves are West of Hamilton and in Eastern Ontario, between Belleville and Napanee. These natives came from the Hudson and Mohawk Valley's in Eastern New York State(Province) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They are not indigenous to what is now Canada.

Other indigenous natives such as the Northern Cree and Algonquin were pretty much autonomous in more northern regions of Ontario and Quebec. They too received dispensation with education and no taxation. However, through decades of dependency, corruption crept in and Native elders basically stole the wealth of their constituents. It's a sad state of affairs in the Northern Climate, north of the ring of fire area of Northern Ontario and Quebec. Clean drinking water and shelter have made these northern reserves intolerable.
