?

As in one opinion invalidates every other opinion different from yours because one opinion confirms your prejudice that the opinion that doesn’t conform to yours must be bigoted?

- gamerdoc

not at all...

simply because stereotypes are just that stereotypes... but when they ring true for someone... they tend stop blabbing ... usually only for a short period... but definitely for a notable period.

I find generally people aren't stupid, but they say and type stupid things when they are worked up. The pauses reflect their desire to not look "more stupid" than they already have.

but that's just an olde guy opinion - you know a boomer - so have at it.

New players, miss Gardiner over Barrie maybe?
- Garnie

Barrie went from a consistent 40+ point Dman, then boom, he got Babcocked. Sad.

There was a post that went along the lines of: Hutch sucks, call up Kaskisuo, trade for Jack Campbell?

And then we went on a 6 page battle of boomers vs millenials

- TheMussel

Considering Hutchinson's SV% is .879, Kaskisuo doesn't have a high bar to cross.

If Kaskisuo stops more than 3 of the first 6 shots against next time he starts, I would consider the experiment a resounding success

Yeah Ron didn’t say a word at the time. But he threw cherry under the bus to save his own skin.
- shack67

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Don knew his poop-canning was coming and told Ron to save himself, since they're buddy's.

🤷🏻‍♂️That’s what happens when you go from #1 to #4, plus we’ve had a slow start...and he missed a wide open cage last night...he’ll get it rolling.

Canada is quite a hypocrit country.
Apparently it is ok to criticize the Russians, Europeans - but don't touch the poor 'milk and honey takers' , that's a line we don't cross!!

And there it is sportsnet goes politically correct there and Don is gone!
- Roadrunner75

Sports net is bleeding money.
This was a face saving easy out from his bloated contract.
And let us all be honest here, the old fella has been unwatchable for almost two decades now.

This was Don's last year anyways. If they weren't going to pull the plug to "save face" then they'd eat twitter nonsense that doesn't affect them anyways. Sportsnet is hilarious, they've lost 90% of their staff that anybody cares about. What do they have left? Tim and Sid...Burkie?

see... that's the thing - we can laugh at this ... I'm not the Milly's could. There's no manual...

cause depends is just a word... without the appropriate capitalization

An open and free society works as long as most constituents believe in such society. When a large portion of constituents look to take advantage of the system they live in but do not believe in democratic free market ideology that make such system possible , there is a trouble.

A case point:did you see the picture of the young Hong Kong student bleeding and dying on the street after getting shot point blank in the antiChinese demonstration? many mainland Chinese immigrants are posting he had it coming, basically (they see pro-democracy demonstrators as rioters).

This does not look like a strength of our diversity. Canada is in trouble if we have to tolerate that kind of opinion as a part of “diversity”.

His lawyer would squash them, there’s not too much to what he said...they’ll just pay him and he’s gone. IMO
