I think we need to stop generalizing here by saying "young people are like this and old people act like that".
There are idiots of all ages, races, genders, species (I didn't forget you gull) and nostril sizes. - Scabeh
Good post scabbie - especially for a Habs fan. Firing Cherry was the right move and generalizations about people, cultures and and generations are BS. All Canadians with the exception of our Indigenous Community (whom Canadians treated very poorly) are immigrants to Canada. Time to promote love and tolerance.

as for the age range for Millenials... I take all of information from the internet - 'cause its always right.... and since you guys are always connect to it and managing its content, like DonCherry's commentary to ensure it stays on track.. I know its good.
recognize what has just happened for what it is.. .and olde man who stayed too long in a job he should have quit probably 5-10 years ago got canned for saying something inappropriate.
Sportsnet is making a business decision - nothing more or less.
If you are trying to equate "getting Don Cherry fired with social change" on a matter that actually matters... I'm thinking you need a whole lot broader view of the world.
when you bought your last smart phone - assuming your parents didn't pay for it - did you buy the one that ethically produced by well paid manufacturing workers in Poland, or did you buy the one from the Chinese or Vietnamese sweatshops staffed by kids? - BorjeFan4Ever
I see you refuse to see why SN had to make this “business move”
I’m lucky, I’m a millennial(22-37 btw) but I was able to buy a house before they raised to ridiculous prices.
That comment you made about a parent buying an iPhone...ha.
The younger aged millennials are (frank)ed when it comes to buying homes and gen Z is even more (frank)ed. You think young people are privileged because their parents buy them a 200$ iPhone?
Try being in 50,000$ of debt at 22 years old because education is a must these days....then try to buy a 800,000$ below average home. It’s not possible.
You were more hand fed than you think. Not by your parents but that’s because you didn’t have to be. |

I find people are quite happy to generalize, as long as they're not the ones that get their left arm tattooed with a number.

As in one opinion invalidates every other opinion different from yours because one opinion confirms your prejudice that the opinion that doesn’t conform to yours must be bigoted?

I don't think it's a business decision, it's more a politically correct decision and the back lash they are getting from his comments. |

So at 36 I'm a millennial? Ffs. I liked to think I was in this little honey hole in the middle of this debate where I could not apply to either side. |

There was a post that went along the lines of: Hutch sucks, call up Kaskisuo, trade for Jack Campbell?
And then we went on a 6 page battle of boomers vs millenials |

Leafs have neutered their offense, probably on purpose by Babs.
my guess is to "Play the right way"???
https://twitter.com/Chart...tatus/1193895007863943170
They had 3 consecutive seasons of being one the top teams in xg and creating offense,
so a big shift this season. Lets see if it pays off - senstroll
New players, miss Gardiner over Barrie maybe?
