If it's anything like here, people must be burning jerseys in the street.
They want to impale Rask with Halak's corpse, and put McAvoy's contract in net?
No? Just us, then? - Monkeypunk
There's a lot of demands to bring Michael Ryder out of retirement and have him play goal.

Georgiev for Mickey and a prospect/ a 3rd is on the table - 21peter
This is a minor trade. Names like that wouldn’t be involved.
Likely Tamishov and a 3rd/4th. |

IDK about Miller health issues so the Leafs would need some else to fill his shoes which the Leafs don't have at the moment and why would he waive his ntc for the Leafs. The weather in Anaheim is way better than here in Toronto. - zazzle
He's a UFA at the end of the year. Played 5 really good games this season already. If Anaheim has a bad season and Toronto is looking to go on a run, waiving a NTC for a few months doesn't sound like a sticking point. |

So yeah I doubt anyone on here has talked about it. - Santo_44

Georgie looks like he could be an elite backup turning into a good starter. Should be ~10 clubs interested. We're getting more than a scrub and a #100 pick. |

They better hold onto him then for at least the rest of the season then.
No team is paying more than that for a guy who’s had one decent season where he’s played more than 10 games. |

Is Georgiev an RFA soon? He might demand a trade to the Leafs, set himself up for life. |

I'd imagine there's some sort of Seattle ramifications as well. You aren't going to go out and pay a lot for someone to be eventually snatched up by Seattle. It's not really all that far off. |

And goalies that aren’t starters have never gotten much in returns.
And it makes sense, they get hot for 30 games and then they are out of the league.
I highly doubt a team is paying more than that.
Who’s giving a young top 9 player for a backup? Has that ever happened? |

Devils paid a #1 pick, 10th overall for Corey Schneider.
What did you guys give for Bernier? I remember it being a decent package.
Or did you mean Backups that would remain backups? |

Two scrubs and a 2nd?
Is it any different than from what I offered?
Plus he was a 1st round pick. The potential was greater. |

Spark is the future in net for Toronto, might as well accept it now and move on. |
