He doesn’t have help on every goal but neither does every NHL team in the league.
Every team let’s in high danger shots every game. Usually a goalie will stop more than a few of them.
But as the stats show Hutch has let in a large amount of those this season.
Hutch has been one of the worst players on the team every game he has played in. You aren’t winning much games when that happens.
It was his last game as a leaf. - Santo_44
Who's replacing him?
Last season the Leafs endured a whole season of Sparks despite his shortcomings.
There's not alot of room on that cap for an upgrade. Unless there's a young goalie in the Leafs system that could do better? |

I see a lot of the statsy folks been commenting on this the last couple weeks.
Leafs have transformed into a point shot low danger team.
their xgf has dropped off from the last few seasons. Babs trying to change how the team plays...I guess.
But its pretty boring and so far is not really working. - senstroll

Since losing to the Habs, Boston has yet to win a game.

I read that NY might look to move Georgiev.
They have that really good goalie in the minors that’s played lights out in the KHL that they want to get up to the NHL. Plus an already crowded crease of goalie prospects in the A. |

We lost to Detroit! - RickJames77
If it's anything like here, people must be burning jerseys in the street.
They want to impale Rask with Halak's corpse, and put McAvoy's contract in net?
No? Just us, then? |

Chi 12 - Leafs 4 high danger chances for
* I think that’s what it was
Not going to win many games regardless which Patty Roy we put in the nets. - Garnie
First period Chicago 12 shots on goal and 4 goals, not exactly Patty Roy. Make some fu*ken saves or go sell popcorn. 3 goals on the first six shots |

It was an article written the other day.
I didn’t check who wrote it, it could of just been a NY writer speculating.
But it’s understandable....look who they have in the A

No offense - but we've been discussing that option for a while now (Shestyorkin being the Russian goalie). |

Not back reading so if it was already said, forgive me.
I don't know how they can make it work with the cap but Toronto needs to acquire Ryan Miller for Hutchinson at some point in this season. |

So yeah I doubt anyone on here has talked about it. |

IDK about Miller health issues so the Leafs would need some else to fill his shoes which the Leafs don't have at the moment and why would he waive his ntc for the Leafs. The weather in Anaheim is way better than here in Toronto. |

Miller is still a really talented goalie. Makes 1.1 in Anahiem. 39yo, UFA at the end of season. I would even go as far to say the man could still win playoff series should that type of injury situation arise.
Toronto should find a way. |
