The assistant coaches have gotten complacent since they were extended. Another Benning screw up. Fire them all, trade everyone, start the rebuild again. It’s the only rational course.

I think the coaching staff is not good but they did just extend everybody after they had 9 good games so there is that.

I can see Jim in his office on Monday calling them in to explain he may have mis-spoken when he said raise.

Another smaller gripe wit Brown. Last couple of games I believe he's had Edler on the 2nd unit with 4 leftover forwards up front. One of the benefits of signing Myers was his shot on the PP and yet Brown is throwing out 4 3rd liner talents + Edler on the 2nd unit. The 2nd unit usually only gets 20-40 seconds to work with so it's not a huger deal, but it's just bizarre.

Why not just run the 2nd unit through Myers and let him fire away with traffic on front? God knows that unit isn't going to be passing the puck around on a string. Worst case Myers gets attention from the PK and creates more space for the forwards on the unit.
