I really don’t care about PP1 padded stats. Hypothetically, Pearson could’ve collected those points as the PP1 net presence. I care that he’s been awful 5v5. His team worst (by far) -9 is a much larger issue - as is his reluctance to hit & (IMO) lack of intensity. |

Hughes was amazing in the final 3 minutes.
The entire offense was running through him while he was at the point
Held the line like 5 or 6 times.
so talented

Motte I understand but Miller and Boeser the next two forwards in highest Dzone starts.
Pettersson is highest centre for Dzone starts.
Why exactly are they making Petey's line going all 200 ft more than any other line?

Anyways the whole team are misfiring around the net, petey toeing that chance in front I said to myself that sums up the way things are going. |

As long as you weren’t one of those complaining about Kesler’s mediocre 5v5 scoring and PP1 stats then it’s fine to give Bo a pass but like LH mentioned, it’s clear that even fans have some bias because Bo is a likeable dude. |

They think they can score off the rush. Miller and Petey very good at O zone entries. The other lines are better battling in front of net and off boards. |

Yeah whole team in scoring rut. Losses add up. Plus Canucks catching teams playing well when they are not getting any puck luck. Happens to other teams too. For example look at the Hawks now they are all over the Laffs 4-1 so far. Plus Wings beat Vegas.
Canucks will need to learn to keep it simple when things aren't going their way on offense. Shoot the puck just make sure its on net and get a rebound for second or 3rd chances. |

The funny thing is we all cheer for them, but for some reason the different factions of fandom have trouble coexisting |

I will be happy for every win in October December or April and I will be pissed every game we lose. |

If you’re going to strip Pettersson of his wingers to try & make Bo look good, at least bring up his most compatible linemate. Boucher added to the top line does nothing. He won’t be a cog in that machine, he’ll be a loose bolt. - DrChristianTroy

Ebbs and flows of the season everyone goes through it. there are 2 teams out there battling to win every night and it usually comes down to special teams, goaltending and a bit of luck and we are on the wrong end of it right now. |
