like holy (frank) we just had 3 years of tyrod not turning it over but the offense never scoring enough to win WHY ARE WE CELEBRATING OUR TOP 10 QB DOING THE SAME NOW
- robz228

Tyrod never threw the ball. That's why he never threw any picks.

Baker Mayfield stared down a receiver and took a safety, missed OBJ on the opening play wide open down the field, and threw a gimme interception that was dropped by White and Poyer, but his kicker was better
- sbroads24

There is a reason why the Browns are 3-6

Oh are you now ignoring his fumble that was returned for a TD?

So basically they scored 20, which is what we would’ve scored exactly if our kicker makes his attempts

- sbroads24

we really want to use kickers missing field goals as to why allen should have a better record? get real

I blame McDermott for wasting the time out on 2nd and 6 on defense. That play after Singletary didn't get out of bounds was scrambly as (frank). They wasted a lot of time and looked so confused. A time out there would have made all the difference

You’re right. Missed field goals don’t matter, but the other team almost recovering does

Here's the six quarterbacks Allen has beaten this year: Darnold with mono, missed the next three weeks; Eli Manning, lost his job; Andy Dalton, lost his job; Marcus Mariota, lost his job; Ryan Fitzpatrick with tanking team ; Dwayne Haskins in his first NFL start.

yup the other team got to almost 20. out of reach for this offense.
- robz228

This was a total team loss really. I’m going to try to be unemotional here:

- allen wasn’t accurate enough.
When given a pocket and a little time he was great. When pressured he was bad today. He also left the pocket 2 or 3 times when he didn’t have too. He was in a zone the last 2 drives but then the coaches got conservative when we reached the 35. He was very lucky on the fumble.
- worst coaching job I’ve seen by This staff in 2 1/2 years. They got out coached by Freddie (frank)ing kitchens. Enough said.
- defense put forth a great effort but not enough of a pass rush, got gauged running, had no turnovers and failed in the end when they could have closed out the game
- online allowed for way too much pressure. Not sure how they run blocked cuz the sample size was too small (dbag daboll)
- punter was tremendous, return game is pretty nonexistent- Roberts is so dangerous if you block for him. We should try that blocking thing. Hauska hasn’t been the same since his injury last year. Nice guy but needs to be looked at, his fg% is poor
-refereeing was sketchy. Cleveland was holding almost every single play but miraculously weren’t called for a single hold

Miami just beat Indy in Indy which is good for our wild card chances. Bad thing is I think Miami beats is next week, they’re playing with emotion

I'm willing to consider that this is on Daboll. Fire him and lets find out.

I'm slightly less willing to consider that Allen will get a lot better and its just 2nd year woes.

I'm 0 percent willing to consider allen has actually been good this year, like get the (frank) out of here with that.

Didn’t know josh played defense against those guys. Though I agree That the Bills, like the Sabres, are unfortunately a very average flawed team

Allen took them down the field with his arm to end the half- missed FG

Allen took them 40 yards in a minute to tie it - missed FG

Allen isn’t great. Literally every. Single. Point we score for the most part has been on his back.

Has Gore or Singletary broke a 60 yard TD run?

Has anyone made any type of diving catch?

Has Dawson Knox gone a single game without a 3rd down drop in plus territory?

Wake me up when we have the ability to take a slant pass to the house

The Buffalo Bills score roughly 17 Josh Allen points a game.

The rest of the team usually scores 0

Jared Goff was flawed too and he played in the Super Bowl last year.

Cody Parkey costed the Bears a trip to the divisional round last year and Trubisky is terrible.

Blake Bortles was a conservative 2nd half game plan away from playing in a Super Bowl.

Joe Flacco beat Colin Kapernick in a Super Bowl.

Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow have won playoff games.

The Bills are winning games with average QB play. They are 6-3 due to their defence and if they start to lean on the ground game that will give them the best chance to be successful. However, defending Allen due to the fact they are 6-3, and ignoring the fact the offence is average at best is false.

they throw the ball more than everyone but the chiefs when the game is close. its their gameplan for allen to do all the work. he just can't.

like i said, fire daboll and lets found out if allen can be better

A win is a win ...... I agree with that

But completely buying into this bills team being 6-3 and “good” ...... is a very hard sell

He has literally put them ahead or in a position to tie the game 5 times in the 4th quarter

Our defense doesn’t force turnovers, and have been giving up 7-10 minute drives regularly now.

It really isn’t just Allen as to why we don’t score more

I don't think ANYONE in here used those words.

But the fact remains, they have 6 wins. And $85 million in cap space again next year.

Why aren't fans allowed to be excited about that?

Josh moved them down the field nicely the last two drives. It would have been nice if the coaching staff didn’t neuter him when they reached the browns 35. I mean I want josh to be the franchise an, great kid. I just don’t know if he’s being hindered by the coaches, by his surrounding cast or if he doesn’t have it?? I do know it’s tough to put up points when the d can’t get off the field.

I think today's 26 yarder to Beasley on 3rd & 2 is the first one all year. Wasn't a TD, but it baffles me why those aren't called more, you can get a legal pick like the Browns did with Landry and then pick up a huge chunk of yards.

Edit: Also, fire Levi Wallace into the Oort Cloud. He sucks.

I'll hammer Hauschka for missing the 34 yarder, you need to make that, but a 52 on grass? I can't be mad for that, the play calling leading up to that? You bet your ass.

Everybody new Allen was a work in progress, he was gonna take time to develop, was said to have the highest upside and physical skills of any QB coming out. But needed work. This team should be running the ball a helluva lot more then passing. They upgraded the WR core, good it needed it badly, and Allen has used those upgrades pretty well. This team was built on defense and supposedly running the ball, but don't do enough of it. Dropped balls and stupid penalties have killed more drives then I can count. Lee Smith is a penalty machine and Dawson Knox who I like and really needs to start catching the (frank)ing football are killing us. I don't know if Allen is are Franchise QB, but he has improved, has proven he can drive us down the field and win games. He definitely still needs work, but he isn't getting much help from OC with his game plans or his HC who oversees the whole staff

Edmunds had a huge day

John Brown is terrific

Bills have Miami and Denver coming up. Settle down folks. Cleveland covered the spread in an entertaining game where Hauschka had an off day

- jcragcrumple

You realize that the Bill's 6 wins have come against teams with a combined 3 wins going into the game?

I won 25 bucks today by picking the browns. Bills will lose to the Broncos. Book it.
