But Sabres fans would hate him the other 81 games a year.

Lucic would have killed Kuch, and then Cernak or Maroon would have killed Lucic. You'd have revenge and then be off the hook for Lucic's contract.

Lucic is only tough against guys who can't fight.

John Vogl: Buffalo Sabres forward Vladimir Sobotka was wearing a walking boot/air cast from his foot to past his right knee after yesterday’s game.

seems cj smith got hurt bad, out a month for rochester

so it's tage or trade

prepare for another scott wilson

Toffoli’s been a healthy scratch and I believe he’s a UFA. LA is in full rebuild mode.

Borgen would be a lot for a UFA.

If they give Sam a big extension, and this is our core, I have serious concerns.
- Lunaion

It's funny, sam just had 2 really great games, but I agree

I'd say the core is:

Eichel
Dahlin
Skinner
Cozens
Mitts

People want Toffoli but didn't want to trade up for Cole and that's the person we're missing. For the future

Sam scored a few goals, but I don't think he had great games. Every time we play TB, it's a reminder of how our top guys aren't even close to theirs. The idea of locking up our core long term just feels wrong.
