I think so far we’re hanging tough with the teams we need to be. Hurricanes, Maple Leafs, Canadiens. If we’re really good, we won’t get blown tomorrow and we don’t get embarrassed again like we did against Pitt.

I don’t think they’re giving it their all. I think a number of players have more to give. We’re winning. I’m happy but certain players still have more.

AV really started riding Myers and Sanheim pair. Sanheim was at 18:19 ES TOI. Myers at 19:19. Prov was 19:06 for reference. A couple of close calls, but the kids mostly played well under tough circumstances.

Ghost/Braun played really well. Limited the Leafs to 1 scoring chance all night, and that's all you can ask for from your "3rd pair". Ghost was darting around and making quick decisions like his old self. This is his 4th strong game in a row?

Pitlick showed a pulse for the first time all season. That entire 4th-line had a nice night, created some dangerous chances. Andreoff had a strong debut.

Point taken. Just hate seeing them give up a two goal lead like that.
