Why wait to be in front of your homeland crowd to go balls out ?
They should be giving 110% every shift every night, playing balls out to win no matter where they are playing.

- 22sabresQ

I think it wold be way too cold and way too dangerous to have your ball outs while playing hockey anywhere. I dont even like playing without a cage

You know what I mean. Is regular season hockey the same as playoff hockey? Most guys always play hard but they still have another level, for the next 2 games the Swedes turn it up to 11.

That's fair.
How about those other 4 divison teams with 2 or 3 top end guys? Clearly they have to better than skinner and his 40 goals.

Ottawa - um
Montreal-um
Detroit - maybe Larkin
Florida- barkov.

Maybe you could help? I'm kinda stumped.

None of those teams will have a high end defensman like dahlin either

- Boss34

I’d trade Reinhart or Skinner for Huberdeau straight up. But in listing those teams do you think it’s coincidence that Ottawa and Detroit are where they are in the standings ? Also the fact that you can most likely lump Buffalo, Montreal, and Florida into a category of teams that are cusp playoff teams ?

The cream of the crop is and will continue to be Boston, Toronto, and Tampa and they have 3 top end forwards each.

From 2016-17- 2018-19 Skinner ranks 59th in total points.

Not 5 on 5, just total points.

So *just* on point total alone he’s a teams second best forward.

He’s 14th in total goals over that time period.

He’s top 5 in 5 on 5 goals in that time period

I’ll take another one of him please

- sbroads24

I’d take another Skinner as well. I think he’s a great player, just don’t think he is a “top end” player.

This is true. Some guys play with them tucked back. You know the guys that don't like going into the dirty areas.

How the frank are the Browns only +3 for Sunday?

I'm just going to go ahead and curse it:

Bills will easily cover.

The gentlemen in Vegas believe that they will run the ball down our throats....
However, they dont account that Freddie is a god awful coach and will probably throw the ball on us.

I’ll take the Browns minus the points. The record shows 6-2 but they’re a 4-4 at best.

Pretty sure the Browns are favored (favoured?) by 3; making them -3.

I thought this was going to be an easy question to answer, but I had to do a lot of digging.

Best I could do is to look at a picture from the NHL.com website:

https://www.nhl.com/fans/nhl-global-series-sweden

Looks like NHL dimensions.

I also found an old article from when the Penguins played there a few years ago 0 - apparently it is only 196 feet long, which according to the players makes a big difference, as they take it out of the neutral zone.

"For the record, the games are being played on an NHL ice surface at 200 feet by 85 and not the larger international surface. The arena can convert to either size, shifting to the smaller rink simply by leaving extra space behind the players' benches and penalty boxes."

If you asked me like 6 years ago that MTL has Drouin and Domi id ask how many cups they had

FLa id add Huberdau and maybe hoffman and trocek

I woudl argue that Chabot is or will be a high end d man imo Brannestrom as well

- hubie

I asked this morning, after flaccoville posted something in regards to every team in the division has 2 or 3 top end forwards. We just have eichel.

Barkov looks better than skinner.

Domi -no
Drouin- no

Good point on chabot- he looks next level

The cream of the crop - has those top forwards

You stated the whole division.

Skinner all day everyday

Huberdeau has 134 goals in 482 games scoring at %27
Skinner has 251 goals in 676 scoring goals at %37

Sbroads - hit him with some 5 x 5 numbers please.

Sammers can defend sam

I’m positive they have a better chance at losing both then winning both. If I were a betting man I would say they will drop both games. Over the last four or five games they have not looked good. Other than the Isles game...
