I have liked Jake a lot in the last half dozen games. Yes he has problems but he is engaged. I think he has all 5 goals in the last 8 games? - VANTEL
All that scoring has him working down the line up some how. Green's logic.

Read a "hands of stone comment" on Pod recently. Can't say I disagree with the few games I've seen so far. - VanHockeyGuy
Thats the scout on him. Plays like a lion every shift... finishing is very questionable. There are a lot of players available like that in each draft but seldom do you see them picked as high as Podz.

It's definitely bizarre.
Meanwhile Pearson has 0 goals and 2 assists in his last 12 games and has somehow been locked into a top 6 role.
I think Pearson's played better than that stat line suggests but when you're in the top 6, production is what matters most. |

I'm not going to predict a score for tonight's game but I'll predict anger in this thread after the game and it will be more entertaining than the game. (frank) off!! - A_SteamingLombardi

TSN: Pierre LeBrun said that back in the offseason the agents for Robby Fabbri spoke with the St. Louis, that if there wasn’t a role for him on the team then maybe a change of scenery would be good. Believe that Blues GM Doug Armstrong said let’s see how the season starts, and if it doesn’t work, then they’d look to move him.
“And I will tell you, I think as we head into November here, there are other players around the league, Dregs and I have talked about this off-air, that are also a little unhappy with their usage, with their role. You might see more trades like this between now and the holidays. Again, to sort of appease players that right now aren’t getting used like they thought they would.”
Stecher? - manvanfan
Freaking mellenials. They watched a YouTube video on hockey and now they think they’re all first liners. |

I like option 3 the best but like you if I can't have my own personal option of
Pearson Horvat Leivo
Baertschi Gaudette Virtanen
Schaller Beagle Sutter
It sounds as if it's a swap between Baertschi and Gaudette who comes out and not LE - manvanfan
Like I've been saying.... talks 3 scoring lines but barely has the balls to configure 2.

I missed some of the game last night - what happen to Tan-man? - Brooks_Light
Tanev gets hit by almost as much rubber as the boards behind any net the Canucks are shooting at.

Exactly. Player type bias is in full effect obviously. |
