I missed some of the game last night - what happen to Tan-man? - Brooks_Light
I hate yet to see any video showing exactly how he got injured and they’re saying upper body, so I assume it’s a muscle related injury. |

He only played 2 extra minutes than normal last night. Even though he made a game changing leg save (which didn't actually end up changing the game) but it was nice. Was a plus 1 with 5 shots 3 hits and 2 blocks.
I would give him a few more minutes just so Myers can't have extra time to make that mistake that costs the team the game.
Edler Myers
Hughes Benn
Fatso Stecher - manvanfan
No one person costs you a game, if they didn't bobble the puck in front of the net 10 times and miss the net another 10 times lol, how many times has miller missed the net this year when in all alone. After the first 10 minutes the shot total and chances were not close, having said that they were not sharp obviously but the season is long and games like this happen, its no like they were hemmed in for 60 minutes. |

Well with Tanev out he’s going to get more minutes. They had him back on the PK last night - Nucker101
Yeah this should placate him for a while. I hope they don't trade him, if the Canucks make the playoffs it'd be good to still have the depth. |

Even after last nights performance? - manvanfan
Yeah with Demko in and Little out there may be a shot...especially with how bad WPG's defence is right now...but I'm sure we will be a red carpet for the Jets on the B2B lol |

I like option 3 the best but like you if I can't have my own personal option of
Pearson Horvat Leivo
Baertschi Gaudette Virtanen
Schaller Beagle Sutter
It sounds as if it's a swap between Baertschi and Gaudette who comes out and not LE - manvanfan
Eriksson hasn't been terrible since he's drawn back in, but he definitely doesn't have the speed Motte had to compliment Schaller/Beagle. I think those two and the scratches have been a positive effect on keeping Loui more engaged so far this year (also, goal production aside, I have to eat crow on Schaller. He's been great this year at his role). |

All for it. Sven and Gauds had some chemistry in the preseason, see if they can get it going with Bo - NewYorkNuck
That would (frank) up Green's 3 checking lines strategy. No, this team needs another penalty killer added.

Players can certainly cost teams games. Edler on his knees, Edler in the box. That's two goals he cost the team.
Myers in STL misses the net and takes out a player and it surely cost them the game.
It's a collection of events that generally cost your team a game. Certain players are more prone to making more costly mistakes than others.

Eriksson engaged doesn't really mean he's accomplishing much. No points, no hits. IF you aren't going to hit or score, what else can you do? |

I try, honestly I really try to give Green the benefit of doubt, but I do not like his coaching tactics or strategies one bit.
Dragon, you may like him and be ok with his ineptitude but this guy couldn’t prepare a team for a game to save his life.
He has no vision, no understanding of player chemistry, no understanding of line matching, no understanding of player and team dynamics.
I can only hope Benning realizes this early enough before it’s too late.
Fire his ass tomorrow - Makita
Green is showing some of the traits I really disliked about AV.
Both Benning and Green talked 3 scoring lines before the season started but I think only Benning meant it. Green will rely on 1 scoring line and the PP and grind it out with the other 3 lines. We heard Green when Sven was sent down saying he doesnt kill penalties. ???? He's an offensive player and the team is half fkn penalty killers so he keeps LE on the Canuck roster instead. It's blatant. "I dont care if he scores... can he shut down the other teams scoring" is loud and clear.
I remember when AV tried all the wingers except Burrows with the Sedins... he didnt want to break up frick and frack's shut down game. He cycled through some wingers a number of times trying to find a fit. Players were called up and tried on their wing.... media and fans were getting ornery about his reluctance to try it.... when he finally had little choice it became one of the most famous lines in Canuck history. Coaches can be so insecure.

Not sure what is going on with Pearson, seems out of sync lately, I would like Gaudette to return to Utica. - Makita
Another Green example. Pearson had success with Bo for a small sample size. Sven for a couple of seasons. Pearson is flat. Sven sits. Pearson doesnt need to be sat... he is still an excellent PK and grinder but he's favoured to play an offensive roll anyways.

This is what is probably the most frustrating thing for me this season so far. If you're not putting him in to PK, get him the (frank) out and let Baertschi play. At least then you get someone who will put in a full effort, not to mention the chemistry he has with a couple of the players you keep shuffling around. |
