Chatfield called up . Grab your popcorn if he gets to play.
I hope Sven does play so we can forget this foolishness and look for real answers. |

Scout who watched Vasili Podkolzin in Canada-Russia series last night in Kitchener: He was Russian player of the game, kid is going to be a BULL. Busts his balls and never gives up on the play. Physically can dominate. He is a leader on that Russian team, wears an A for reason. |

Why not showcase him instead of that loser Louie? Play him and then trade him after he scores a bunch. |

Maybe everyone was complimenting the team a week ago, I can remember saying that I will give Green the benefit of doubt because he has a better lineup.
Well in my opinion he is just as poopty as he has been the last few years, benefit of doubt no longer given, he’s crap. - Makita
Better line up for sure. The team has played pretty good hockey so far this year.
There are games where Green is definitely out coached. Coaches are the same as players, they aren't going to win every game.
The "new systems" they are trying out so far this year will get looked at by other coaches and game plans will be made.
Yesterday Colliton made a game planned that made Green look amateur.
That comes down to in game coaching changes Green needs to make and seems to really not be very good at.
Minutes and match ups as game goes on seems to get out of hand some games.
I don't know of a lot of coaches that would be an improvement at this point in time. Maybe fire him at near the end of the season and look in the summer. I doubt this team is winning a cup this year but hey STL right? |

So, when they were winning it was in spite of Green, and now they’ve lost a couple in a row they’re losing because of him? It’s the same logic as the JB and Brackett drafting argument.
Most people thought this team would be a bubble team, and they’re on pace for that. This isn’t a Tampa or Boston level of lineup, so they’re not underperforming.
Are there better coaches out there? Yes. But they’re employed by other teams, so hard to change for one of them. - NewYorkNuck
This is not the same as JB and JB discussion at all, I have never been a fan of Green, it has been stated many times over the years he has been here.
Yes the team was winning in spite of him, it's called overachieving. The team has come back to earth and the isn't a good enough coach or coaching staff to correct this.
This team may be a bubble team, that is the hope for the season, but it will be in spite of Green.
It will be because Pettersson, Hughes, Horvat, Miller made it happen.
This is my opinion of the coach and you may not agree, and that's all well and good. But I get to express my opinions on an inept coach the same way you express your dislike over Eriksson |

Ummm not sure why, but Makita, you've changed bro. With all the swearing and anger.

Canucks speed will be way too much for the Hawks to handle. 5-2 Vancouver, Boeser with the hat trick!! - ChicagoHope
This guy must have got into the Canucks players heads before the game so they thought they wouldn't need to try. |

I have liked Jake a lot in the last half dozen games. Yes he has problems but he is engaged. I think he has all 5 goals in the last 8 games? |

Read a "hands of stone comment" on Pod recently. Can't say I disagree with the few games I've seen so far. |
