I think he’s earned it. Goals in three straight and he’s buzzing again. Simon has been supporting well but he’s getting a lot of puck touches and hasn’t done anything with it

Our D look really good.

First period was really good, Rino. Pens edged em out for time on attack I’d say but we haven’t connected on anything really. Bjugstad is once again the weak link

Yep, which is why I want someone with a scoring touch as Sid's RW. It's not like Simon is some Selke candidate or has eye-popping underlying numbers.

There’s definitely chemistry forming with Galchenyuk and Geno but they’re too damn close together all the time. They’re over supporting which makes them easy to defend and neuters their room to create

Guentzel gave up too early but that’s definitely on Schultz. You cannot pinch when you don’t have support

It's not THAT bad...they've had their chances but they've been a bit soft that directly lead to goals 2 of which Murray probably wants back.

I seem to remember him usually being slow getting back to normal after injuries over the years...I think alot of players are like this. He also gets in his own head alot ..has admitted it. If things don't start going his way for a string of games he starts getting mental.

That doesn't make sense. He is under contract for the next 3 years at $7.25M per. That's still a lot of money for a guy who is injured all the time.

Speaking of guys who are injured all the time, I definitely don't want Schultz back.

Pens need to simplify. I love the pace, but too much east/west and zero traffic. Varly is seeing most of those shots. Would be nice to get an occasional bounce too. I'm a believer that you earn your bounces.....I think they've earned more than they're getting.
