Even with all the help you get from the league, you will miss the playoffs. Try beating Boston, Tampa or any legit team when they aren't coming off playing back to backs or 3 in 4 nights.
Watching tonight, you have one of the very worst rosters in the league. Possibly the worst. - 77Bolts86
dude i'd keep my head in the sand after that first round last year |

If you have to pay her, she isn't really your girlfriend. |

What's KK's upside? Being really slow when his weight goes above prepubescent marching band teenager? - MortChicken
Barkov didn't look any better his first two season.

in fact, it is so good that Habs will probably miss the playoffs for the 4th time in 5 years |

so did the Habs make the right call reaching for Kotkaniemi or should they have went with Tkachuk - The_Price_is_right
At the time, the need was at centre. Now that they have Domi, Suzuki and Poehling, no need to panic over KK's development. |

Well we could have had Poehling, Suzuki and Quinn Hughes paired with Weber |

not sure properly building a winning team and still making the playoffs year after year is such an easy thing to do |

We didn't have Suzuki yet and we don't know what Poehling's ceiling is. Imo, it's 2nd line centre at most. So yes, we needed to pick the guy that represented our best chance of finally getting a 1st line centre. |

He looks pretty good and would have filled a big need on the left side of the defense.
This being said, only time will tell if he would have been a better choice than Kotkaniemi.
Aren't you loving him right now? Everything points to him being a pretty good pick. |
