Drummer from childhood band toured with them the last tour.. he's now touring with Marylin Manson

I love the story of my coworker where he went to Joey Belladonna's house to try and work on a song, bought beer and was promptly chastised by his wife's because he didn't drink anymore

Edit: Also told me Marylin Manson sucks live.

Last Heavy Montreal, they reconnected backstage, Joey was like ''So we never finished that song we worked on 15 years ago'' and my coworker said ''I did....with my band''.

System of a Down needs to get back on it... They're so good live... Saw them with Meshuggah in the early 2000s... And with Mindless Self Indulgence and Clutch. And twice with Ozzfest in Toronto and Buffalo.

A band I would love to see live is July Talk. Peter Draimanis just looks like an absolute madman of a singer.

Even though they haven't had a great album in a while, seeing The Dears live is amazing, as is Sigur Ros.

Going to see them in show in January. Not the biggest fan but I hope they're good live.

I saw Korn a few years back at Heavy MTL, not the biggest fan either but the show was very decent. Nothing surprising but the bass was good lol

Canadian band, worth checking out. Their best studio album is No Cities Left, and the best live album is Thank You Good Night Sold Out.

Better or worse than great Canadian acts like The Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo and Moist?

Yes and no. There's rumours of a new album, and a live album. They recorded a live show in Toronto a couple years ago, but nothing came of it.

They're... Unique. They cross between rock and jazz. If almost compare them live to The Dave Matthews band. Good albums, epic live. I saw them at Lee's Palace, and after their gig, the guys from Billy Talent showed up to watch them.

Never listened to the Dave 'Matthews Band. Only know Lee's Palace in Scott Pilgrim. Love Billy Talent.

I think David Usher rehearses near De Lorimier and Rosemont.
