im sure they would. on a related note, if Shea Weber is in Montreal through his 1500th game i will sob into a pillow.
- DoubleDown

I highly doubt Weber has another 500 games left in the tank

What if he has his 1500th game in Montreal, but also 3 Stanley Cups?

So, who thought that after 15 games Victor Mete would have more goals than Shea Weber?

Meh, he could still play 500 more games.

He'd just be much worse at some point.

Mete is playing great. His goals aside, he's pinching at the right moments, keeps the puck in the offensive zone and helps Weber alot with his speed.

Well technically he could play till he's 90 years old, just not at an NHL level lol

Pretty sure no one would offer him a contract at 90 years old pat.

But he's still under contract until he's 41... so 500 more games is possible.

Everybody (including him) knows he'll never play until the end of this contract.

i still think Kotkaniemi was the right call. you need to build down the middle.

He'll probably announce at the end of the season that he was playing with broken femurs, then go through an intense therapy only to come back stronger than ever

You also needed a LD and Quinn Hughes will win the norris and calder.

Also Barrett Hayton is better

KK was not the obvious choice at his rank but it's a little early to tell if him or Quinn Hughes will end up having the bigger impact.

Though it sure does look like Quinn Hughes will be pretty god damn amazing.

Barrett Hayton? Give me a break. His upside is way lower than KK's or Tkachuk's.

What's KK's upside? Being really slow when his weight goes above prepubescent marching band teenager?
