Not sure if LA would but definitely, yes. Also, might have to add Johnsson, Kapanen or Kerfoot, if not for value reasons but for cap space reasons. Might also get LA to retain 1 million AAV if they do. Would also try to swap Petersen for Hutchinson.

i tend to agree, however i dont like johnsson with matthews, i think they need to change the left wings up a bit.

I think he's a bit checked out. Team blows, has for a while, and he seems like he needs a fire lit to be effective again.

Not on the decline, just a really bad, lottery team. He also looks disinterested because he knows his team is garbage, will continue to be garbage and winning is a pipe dream.

Babcock has been doing everything the fans wanted to see.

More ice time for the stars = worse results
Matthews and Marner together = (frank)ing awful
Top PP unit more time = results are worse than they've ever been
3rd pairing dmen less time = conceding more goals than ever before
Nylander on the top PP unit = unsuccessful


This is more on the players and the GM for not recognizing that if you don't work hard and stick up for one another you ain't getting anywhere. Imagine these hits happening to the Caps, the Bruins, the Blues, the Pens. Do you think there would be no response and a player saying yeah it was a good hit?

What's Babcock supposed to do here? How many more "stars" need to be on the PP to score a few? And he's got very few PKers in the organization

So at this point I don't think there is much debate if you had to choose between keeping Muzzin or Barrie
