All these people hating on the vets.... apparently they want us to be the sharks who over the past few years have gone a lot younger and more in experienced and have 4 wins in 15 games. Lets sign up for that

I’ve got to dump Spectrum, the bastards ! I need to pick up a service that offers MSG but for a reasonable price. Dish has a flat $35/mo package (which would work) but they don’t have MSG.

Any reasonable suggestions ?

Please !!

- Pairo11

Get a friend that has cable or dish to loan you their password for MSG GO app. connect your laptop to your tv with an HDMI cable. Enjoy.

Who let's there 4th leading goal scorer walk? How was that not good? That's good if not very good.

Trade deadline in: pommer can pull it together for 20 games

- Boss34

well, there are 30 other teams who could have convinced him to play with them for a season.
wonder if anyone called him?

Pretty much any team that finished near the bottom and wants to improve.

If you're 4th in scoring on a bad team, you probably don't score that much.

- buffalofan19

Didnt he bring back everyone but pommer?

Goal scorers 5-20 don't score that much either?
should they all be gone?

Its definitely not erod helping with that lines success
- Boss34

Nor Pommer.

So many other teams offered him a deal this summer, I'm surprised he hasn't chosen yet.

He's waiting until the trade deadline. He'll see who is #1 in the league and inform them they've won his services.

That cuts both ways. If he's good, then we shouldn't just assume we can bring him in anytime for 1m. I've also never heard that another team offered a significant deal.

ID rather have Pommer in big games down the stretch/playoffs than some call up from Roch
- hubie

I agree, from roughly the trade deadline hopefully into the playoffs.

Experience, Faceoffs and pp points do not count at hockeybuzz

Cam Newton to IR.

The best starting quarterback with the last name Allen to take over for the rest of the season.

- buffalofan19

Our Josh Allen isnt even the best Josh Allen in the league

Pomminville was a UFA whose term ran out. Nobody else he brought back, except Skinner, fits that description.

its also assuming we get a bonafide nhl winger at the deadline. Poms could just fill a bunch of roles in a pinch

Montreal inquired.

Pommers a family man, a Buffalo family man.

Similiar to gianta.

Young families are important to some guys

I'm kinda assuming there is a chance he resigns here.

I read an article how he is training in buffalo and that he owes it to himself to be ready.

Montreal and ottawa had some interest

Suprised how people forgot about the boostbhe face last season . Granted it was with eichel.

That was my original point.
Apparently goaloffson isnt working 5 x5
Veseys looked terrible
Sheary sometimes

No doubt pommer wore down

Not the exact ufa description, but free agents for sure.

Pretty sure Larsson, girgs and erod resigned this offseason.

Those 3 guys had 20 goals combined.

Vancouver, Colorado, Edmonton, Buffalo (for now) Toronto all look good to me.

Lack of depth is hurting the Sharks and they have ECHL level goaltending.

That's my original point.

It would have been nice to have him with eichel in a pinch role on Saturday.

We lost 1-0 .
Pommer scored on Average almost 1 time every 4 games.

Krueger went with vesey. I liked the move.
Then I went to the game and thought vesey looked out of place with eichel.

I went as well. They can mix em up, but there's not enough firepower on the team to mask it. And playing Sobotka with Mittelstadt isn't going to get him scoring. It was a boring game overall

Would either team make this trade:

Ristolainen, Bogosian, Okposo, Sheary, 2020 1st, 2021 2nd

for

Kane, Keith, Shaw

Chicago loses a couple million in celery, gets 2 younger defenseman, couple of mid-6 guys, couple of picks and we get a veteran presence on the back end for Dahlin who essentially replaces Bogo's contract, Shaw is a gritty player we could use and obviously hometown boy Kaner.

Keith would have to waive but honestly, 3 more years of him mentoring Dahlin isn't the worst idea IMO. People said Numminen was done when he came here, and he was quietly great for us. Trading this year's 1st for Kane is reasonable if lottery protected and the extra 2nd sweetens the deal.

This isn't exactly an EA NHL trade, either.

Pommer brought some good times last season.

The game was boring for sure. The islanders played a boring road game.

I want to see what tage can do ..... it’s a free move ( a call up). We have nothing to lose.
