you are not wrong, yet on the other hand, remember when the Bills drafted Allen the most they spoke of was his physical attributes...big, tall, strong, strong arm...will be great in the Buffalo weather .... yet when the weather turns less than ideal, they seem to become very, very conservative and take the big strike plays out of the game...which should be the time to do it since it gives them a competitive advantage.

except, he is not accurate on the long ball...hopefully he develops that over his career.

still early, needs more development, which we should have expected.

These two things can both be true:

(1) Josh Allen is a lot better than he was a season ago.

(2) Josh Allen is still one of the NFL’s worst starting quarterbacks.

No matter how many wins the Bills stack up against bad football teams, I just can’t get on board. Allen is mediocre on his best day, and, all of a sudden, the defense isn’t playing at an elite level. That’s not really all that surprising given how volatile defensive performance can be. If Buffalo isn’t playing defense at a high level, this team has no shot at winning a playoff game on the road.

is this where some posters would post 6-2 as if it was a direct affirmation that Allen is indeed very good.

I go back and forth on this. Remember 2004? They started something like 0-4, and then ended up 9-6, only needing to beat a Steelers team that was resting all of its starters. There was a large contingent of Bills fans that were stating that the defense was carrying that team, and that it was winning in spite of Drew Bledsoe. That last game turned out to prove them right.

This season feels a lot like that one right now, without the 0-4 start.

Bills are a flawed team, but they are winning, sometimes ugly, yet they remain 5-3 ATS.

Fans are waiting for a blowout game against some of these poor teams, where except for a couple, the games have been in question well into the 4th quarter. But they are winning when they should be. I don't believe they are a top team , and am worried that the run defense has been exposed and they will see a lot more of it until they show they shut it down consistently.

This should be a good, competitive game against the Brownies .

Daboll is losing faith / trust in Allen .....

Also it’s hard to buy into the bills because the offense just doesn’t flow. Too many ups and downs. Not enough consistency.

They can't execute a simple passing play with any consistency. There's always a false start, hold, a free blitzer, no open receiver, a bad throw, etc. Our offense is all broken plays and absurd athleticism from Allen.

Crazy stat I saw yesterday. I hope I remember this correctly

The Bills are the 10th best offense in drives starting within our own 25 yard line

They are 3rd in red zone offense

The Bills are 30th in drives starting from our 25-the opposition 40 or something

For whatever reason we can put together 75+ yard drives pretty consistently

But when we get good field position we somehow suck.

I think that points to the game plans
