7.5% has been super disappointing so far he's been proving me right didn't work hard enough - gerbe75pts
he will be nothing more than a 30-50 point guy, at his best, and while that's not bad, we need more. If he was half the player Vanek was, I'd be happy. |

I think he can be very successful if he plays with a natural goal scorer. He makes a lot of small plays in the offensive zone to get the puck on Sheary and Vesey/Erod’s stick that are skilled plays.
His speed is what is holding him back from being a complete game changer, but he can be a very good player in time. |

Well Allen had fumble fingers Zay Jones and Charles Clay, and half-assed effort from KB last year, and the national football media had no problem tearing Allen apart for his completion percentage, so I'm inclined to give him credit for increasing his % with a group of reasonable receivers.
This is still not even a top-16 group of receivers. No one took credit away from Brady when he was throwing to Randy Moss. I'm not going to take credit away from Allen when he's throwing to John Brown and Cole Beasley - who are good, dont get me wrong - but not elite
And my mea culpa - I didn't think he could increase his accuracy, but he has - jcragcrumple
Don't misunderstand me. I think Allen has in fact become more accurate, especially on medium throws, which he struggled with last year.
My point was confusing the two concepts, nothing related to Allen himself. |

I'd love to know why he faded off the radar at the Athletic. He is one of the reasons I subscribed. |

You could be right, we did that vs the giants and still won the game. I won’t disagree with that.
But maybe. Show some aggressive force and score some points.
I Just want the offense to look good and have some flow to it. It’s been weirdly and very up and down all year.
I watch a lot of red zone after the bills game. Just watching other teams, We just look so bad.
Garden mindchew has a few 300 yard games and actually moves the ball
David Jones has a few nice passing games
Kyler Murray has had some nice games
It’s almost painful to watch the bills go downfield. - Sabretooth9
Sure, but the Giants, Jags, and Cards have all been down big, which lends itself to airing it out. The Bills simply haven't been behind other than last week, and then it was 50mph winds which pretty much precludes throwing much. Even yesterday was pretty windy too.

John Brown dropped a 30 and 20 yard passes literally in his hands.
If he catches those, the Bills average 10 yards per pass attempt yesterday. They still averaged 8.
Patrick Mahomes averages 9 yards per attempt.
It’s not remotely as bleak, but they are playing really safe with a turnover prone QB - sbroads24
They need to teach him how to carry a football. Give Tiki Barber a call, maybe he picked up some tips from Peterson(had a hiccup in 2015, but has been very good since his early years) yesterday?
Maybe they need to do some work in practice where he has to go through the gauntlet with everyone trying to punch it out. No matter how they do it he has to learn to stop carrying the ball away from his body. |

Wasn't that said about Reinhart too? Let's maybe wait more than a year and 15 games before we jump to conclusions.

Brandon Allen completed a 7 yard pass to Noah Fant yesterday. He broke 5 tackles and went 75 yards.
He also had a 30 yard TD pass to Sutton, who legit jumped over the back of the defender and took it away from him.
We don’t have the luxury of guys making plays like that for our QB. We just don’t.
John Brown is an excellent #2. Beasley a solid slot #3.
Our TE’s can’t catch, we just started using Singletary and we have no #1.
I just wish our coach/GM wasn’t completely obsessed with drafting defense

I agree. That should be the priority in the off season, no doubt. And I like Brown a lot. I was never a huge Watkins fan personally, so I'm glad they didn't pay to keep him |

Watkins was legit excellent his rookie year, then just never took a step.
His foot injury kinda ruined his career |

I never liked his game in open space. He just didn't break games open for a guy who was supposed to be a #1. It's fair to blame EJ and Tyrod for making him look mediocre, too, I suppose |

The game he had against Detroit his rookie year with Orton is one of my favorite games a WR has ever played. And he only had like 8 for 97 or something
He made three unreal catches in traffic that just showed how great his hands were and how strong he was |

John Brown is a faster Robert Woods with worse hands. They need a legit #1. Look at what Cooper has done for Prescott. |

One of my favorite useless Bills debates. Orton was the best Bills QB of the drought. Fight me!!! I know, it was probably Bledsoe |

The average age of the Broncos offence is 25. Now help us with the tank to get Tua or Burrows so we can go back to being a dominant force in the AFC again cause these past 2 years have been painful |

Maybe putting Olofsson with Mitts could work?
Could move Sheary up with Jack. He looked good on line1 to start the season |

The great Daniel Jones with 80 yards passing and two turnovers at home.
But hey he threw for 300 yards against Tampa! |

Will do you one better.... whos the second best qb in the division as a whole since Brady took over? The answer may also be Bledsoe
I could debate that fitz was the best in the drought for us |

I don't get the hate for Allen, other than we're desperate for him to be real good. He IS good. the offensive play calling is suspect, the line isn't good, and his receivers drop a lot of balls. they were talking up Lamar Jackson as an MVP candidate and his passing numbers were WORSE than Allen's last week. We almost beat the Pats, and can make a case we would have had Allen stayed in the 4th quarter, his best quarter by far. The sky is not falling. We're not going to get credit because, duh, Bills. Just keep winning. Beat Cleveland. |

The one thing that I need to see from Allen at this point is to stop fumbling. It's been a real issue for him this year. He needs to protect the ball better. There are other areas of his game that could be better, but the one that I feel needs to be corrected ASAP is the fumbling. |

Agreed. I think this year is about them winning games (however the team can do it), and Allen learning to protect the football. Next year, I want to see him put it all together. Consistently throw for over 250, 0-1 turnovers, and start having statement wins against good teams. |
