2 best teams in the EC and possibly the 2 best teams in the NHL going at it. Your team looking VERY impressive. Boston is my pick for the Cup this year but if there’s anyone that can stop them it’s you guys. Not a believer at all in TB. Washington maybe but I doubt it. The true cream of the crop is on display in this game.

Bjugstad looks great tonight! And the poor man's Kessel was pretty tenacious before making a +100' pass to Geno, who then does a no-look backhand, on the tape, to Rust, who comes through with the finish!

Simon needs to shoot. Crosby likes guys that don't turn the puck over; true. But a button-man gets the puck to the net on those overpassing plays. I don't think that was on Sid to shoot that, being on his offwing and all.

That was way worse then the actual penalty Letang got.

this has been one of the best periods i've seen the pens play. Limiting boston to what? 5-6 shots counting a powerplay and getting almost 20? Thats something.

And to think, I almost turned the game off...

Bjugstad and Blueger lines are playing very well. Malkin line played much better the second period. Crosby line needs a right wing, the golden boy is just in over his head.

Needless to say the Pens were the better team that period. Bruins will be determined this period. Should be a good one.
