https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRo2-e1o4Ys The last time we played Ottawa a couple of weeks ago they took some pretty big runs at our guys when we were severely short benched with Martin and Kuhnackle hurt (and the fact that we went with 7 D-men in that game).

This was Trotz after the game... "not the last time we are playing Ottawa.. Long Memory.. Etc."
I am curious to see if this game becomes a physical statement type of game. Brady is certainly not going to want to fight Ross... but he might not give him a choice. |

Anders Lee said they're not concerned with how the Senators played them last time out, and they're not bringing any of that into the next meeting.
Isles are on a 9 game win streak and I'm sure they're much more focused on making it 10 than they are gooning it up against a worthless basement dweller. |

The focus should be 2 pts. Theres enough grit on this team sans Martin that can handle the physical play. After all, this isnt the Leafs.... |

Only way they don’t retaliate is if it’s a close game. If the Isles are up big I think the Boss goes hunting. Pretty sure none of them will have the balls to go with Johnson but like somebody said earlier the Boss might not care if they want to or not lol

Meh, I don't really agree. Trotz isn't the kind of asswad coach that's going to send his goons out there running around if they're up big or down big. I honestly think it would be way funnier to just watch them keep running the score up.
Maybe Johnston gets to take that diseased Chernobyl-mutant Borowiecki's face for a test-drive but I'm pretty sure he's not going to grab a top young player like Tkachuk and knock his face through the back of his head unless he's a willing combatant. |

I'm glad I didn't go. Would have been a big waste. Plus some of the people I know that went are some of the dumbest (frank)ing people I know. Never mind the fact they are still paying off student loans. |

Actually Trotz is one of the few coaches who actually likes having a goon on his team. Also payback doesn’t mean sending your goons out to chase everybody around. I don’t expect Tkachuk to fight Johnson either but Trotz doesn’t strike me as the type who just forgets about the shat they pulled last time either especially after his comments following the game. What do you expect Lee to say? Yeah we’re gonna goon it up tomorrow night? With that said it’s not the NHL I grew up on and wouldn’t be surprised if nothing happens but I’ll be there just in case sh*t does go down 😂 |

I'm not saying that nothing will happen, I just don't think it'll be the Penguins Fight Night 2.0 or even the central theme of their game plan.
Don't get me wrong, I love me some violence but I honestly think it would be funnier to run the score up as high as possible. Putting the top line out there for an offensive zone faceoff late in the game up 5-1 and having them bust their ass for another goal is so much funnier to me |

Probably not, but if the game isn't close, and 6' 4" Tkachuk goes anywhere near Cizikas again, I could see Johnston teaching him a lesson. Top young player or not, if Tkachuk is going after smaller guys on the Isles, he's fair game. |
