Sure we can all be angry and argue with each other ALL THE TIME on here, but today - a freakin' Monday for cripes sake - is a good day and we should all be happy for once. Why ?

Every Pats fan out there is miserable today.

Enjoy your day !

Should be a good work day. I'm in Orlando. I work for a company that is HQ'd out of the Boston area. Lots of Pats fans here.

The best are the Super Bowl losses. The worst.. The Super Bowl wins. You see the extremes. The losses. None of them show up for work Monday. Then mope for a few days afterward.

The wins. They run around here reminding you every 5 minutes they won. lol

Broncos allowed 296 Seahawks allowed 231.

The Pats have allowed 98 through 9 games. That's a 174 point pace. I'm not saying that's all they'll allow, but coming into tonight they allowed 7.6 points a game. 41 less than the next closest team. 41! I hate the Pats, but come on, dude. Even the best defenses get lit up.

The Broncos allowed 24 or more 5 times, 10 or less 3 times, no shutouts.

The Seahawks allowed 24 or more twice, 10 or less 7 times, one shutout.

The Pats have allowed 24 or more once so far, and 10 or less 5 times, two shutouts. No matter how bad a team is, it's incredibly hard to get a shutout in an NFL game today especially when the weather is good.

Sure, and through 9 games the Pats have played 1 good offence and proceeded to give up 30.

I am really hopeful that the team has been worn out and needs this 5 day break.

The test against Tampa will not be easy, but if the team sticks to their system, they could figure it out.

The Europeans should all have an extra step this week, especially the Swedes, and hopefully it fires up the line up.

The team looked to be in good spirits with their weird UV blockers last night, and hopefully they can bring it together this week. Coming away with at least 2 points should be the goal.

3 is better.
4 is gravy.

figgeritout.

I didn't think they played poorly Saturday. They just couldn't get one by Varlamov. And honestly, the Isles struggled to get one past Hutton too. The one they got was just a fluky bounce early in the game. It sucks, but it's not like they came out and laid 2 giant eggs over the weekend. The Caps game hurts for sure. They just looked brutal in the 1st. Not often you see a team give up a 4 on 1. But they seemed to be able to put it behind them and put in a solid effort on Saturday.

Top 2 guys in points were drafted AFTER skunk. I wanted the German Gretzky. Oh well. Skunk is acceptable. At least he's not Bennett.

I wasn't as worried about the game against the Isles. More just the last stretch in general. They've played a lot of hockey in a short amount of time.

This is one of those bonding trips that they probably need right now. Time to get back on the same page, and put forth a full effort.

I need to look at the tape.

I don't know really, but it seems like Allen locks in to his target at the line.

He’s a great player. Had 50 yards in drops too.

Should have been a 6 for 125 day

Nice to see them get Singletary involved, the kid is fun to watch, just looks like he could break 1 any time he touches the ball.

This could turn out to be a interesting last 8 games to the season. We have 2 really tough games against Baltimore and Cowboys. Pittsburgh is never easy but if we can squeeze 2 wins out of those games. Patriots have a really tough 4 game stretch coming up with Philly, Cowboys, Texans and KC. This could get really interesting going into Foxborough.

Yeah. I agree. I was a bit optimistic that they can "right the ship" if you will by how they played on Saturday though. I guess that's more or less what I was trying to say.

I've officially lost faith in Daboll as a play-caller.

I want to know how many times he was going to try Gore in a short yardage situation. It was CLEARLY not working for us yesterday, yet he basically kept telling Gore to go out and run right into a brick wall time after time. I get that usually he's the guy they use for that and that they've had a decent amount of success with it, but it was NOT working yesterday.

The 3 stops at the goal-line didn't bother me so much. You should be able to push forward for half a yard. It was the two "and one" play calls after that which frustrated me. You finally punched it in on a QB sneak (btw, you have a quarterback who is 6-5), and you also succeeded at it on another play, but you abandoned it twice for a play that hasn't worked all day.

The fact that they have Allen and that Gore usually does pretty well in those situations should make it hard for the other team to guess which option they're going to go for. But you have to utilize it the right way.

Nah. They've worked for the most part. They also only call them 2 or 3 times per game, and they have resulted in first downs/touchdowns more often than they haven't. That 8 yard loss disaster might have been the first time it didn't work.

pretty much.. i was hoping they would regroup after last weekend and show up for these past two games but they looked terrible in the first one and then looked better against the isles but didn't know how to get it past varlamov. they need to get 3 or 4 points this coming weekend and if possible lose a few players at the airport. I also hope that Dahlin can get back to what he was earlier in the season he has really struggled lately
