Good. I hope you can’t sleep tonight because of the pain you’ve experienced today. Douche.

your abuse has reinvigorated me...

I'm primed for a long night of "constructive debate" about the weiners in the Leafs lineup

Matthews did the same thing Nylander did midway through the 3rd.

Idk if anyone caught it...it resulted in a scoring chance but not a goal which is why it went unnoticed.

- Santo_44

I caught it and commented yesterday.

The idea that Nylander is bringing Matthews down is hilarious.

They are not performing up to their salaries. It is painfully clear that neither one gives a poop.

Yes what were all those idiot GM's thinking when they drafted all those undersized players that have no chance to be impactful NHL players ... Such as:

Brad Marchand, Victor Arvidsson, Alex DeBrincat, Jared Spurgeon, Johnny Gaudreau, Tyler Johnson, Cam Atkinson, Johnathan Marchessault and Torey Krug.

Idiot bastard scouts and gm's should be fired on the spot for drafting those puny good for nothings,

What the hell were they thinking?

I am excited for JT to come back.

I truly think that guy raises their games, especially Marner.

Its hard not to give a poop with a guy like JT is around.

What a terrible argument.

You know how easy it would be to list all the guys that were 5'9", 162 that didn't make it?

That doesn't even dive into the fact that Robertson isn't nearly as talented as the players you listed, nor does it speak to the larger point being that even if by some miracle he did become a top-six scoring winger, the Leafs already have too many of that type of undersized player, relegating him to the Trevor Moore role.

Isn’t the point of drafting to replace older, more expensive players? Robertson would replace Johnsson. 3.4m vs 850k.

Robertson would most likely spend another year in Junior before there is any real talk of him joining the Leafs.

The fact that you’re already writing him off, though...

Robertson is 2 years away from being 2 years away. Johnsson didn't even crack the NHL full time until he was 23.

Replacing players that are too small and too weak with newer players that have the exact same issue doesn't help improve.

Robertson isn't a write off, he's just a long shot and not providing the type of value the Leafs need unlike a player like Sandin who actually fills a need the Leafs have to fill.

The Leafs have a window of opportunity in the next 5 years and they have a lot of improvements to make. It's great that Robertson has a bunch of goals in the OHL but if the Leafs want results in the NHL, they're going to be better off trading him for somebody else who can actually give the Leafs something they don't have. The same way Nylander and Johnsson and a few others will help the Leafs more by being traded for somebody with a bigger impact and fills a bigger area of need.

After the Petes were eliminated, SDA played with the Growlers for a couple regular season games before playing 9 playoff games. So maybe?

I actually reallyvliked the robertson pick. Kid has heart. Reminds me a bit of gallagher when he was in junior. I really do think hes going to be a solid nhler.

Me too. Great second round pick.

Kid had a tough go to begin his life, too.

Matthews has been great this year. No idea why people are questioning his play. Needs to build some stamina and thats it.
- mykokes

Jesus.
He can score.
But has been floating alot.
Not consistent at all.
He needs to do a lot more if he wants to come close to earning his overpayment

In the meanwhile Hintz has 9 goals and 2 assists in 16 games this season. Definitely better than Nylander as I said before this season.
- MaximusAurelius

Never hit 20 goals or 60pts.
Come on.
Hes having a better 16 games....but thats about it for now
