If the message did anything, it inspired the Leafs to play a more spirited game. It was a tossup that could have gone either way. Again it was little chintzy penaties that cost the Leafs the win in OT, the suspendable axe murders by Wilson were forgiven.

Except the hit on Muzzin. Wilson only took 15 or 16 strides into that hit. And the 2 minute penalty for a knee hit on Barrie was BS. If that's not intent to injure nothing is. Just one time, when Wilson winds up with the 15 stride attempt to kill someone, it would be nice if he took a nice butt end in the gut. I'd do a jig.

They can handle top lines like the Bergeron line, and struggle against weaker competition

They just so happened to be playing each other in the second round as a result of sketchy playoff formatting.

and ovi has always shot a lot and always hit, he's still in the same spot shift after shift and sits and waits for the big blaster. that's his game.
