Pass rushing can be definitely be improved, and they don't have a stud at the position, but they sacked Wentz 3 times yesterday. The defense couldn't stop the run in the 2nd and 3rd quarters either. They need DT help more than they need pass rush help right now. Until they stop the bleeding, teams are going to be run-first against the Bills for the rest of the year, especially because their secondary is still very solid.

With the injuries, a DT would certainly help
But it’s still a pass first league
And rushing the passer is a clear issue
3 sacks doesn’t mean we consistently pressure the other teams’ QB... we don’t

For what 6-8 mill less than a 26 year old gordon and not be able to pay a position of bigger need.

No thanks
Singletary + Gore is good enough
Draft a guy to pair with Singletary moving forward in the mid-rounds

Spend that $$$ where we really need it...
-we desperately need a pass rusher
Yeah, the defense got tired & couldn’t stop the run in the 4th
But the biggest difference i saw is that our QB was under pressure all game,
and AGAIN
the opposition QB was hardly rushed to get rid of the ball

- jdfitz77

we need a middle linebacker

that kid shouldn't be calling the D and probably needs to move outside next fall

Botts should be on the phone with Bowman regularly.

Seems Jereky Colliton their coach has put Strome in the doghouse for a game or so, banishing him to 4th line duties during that time...but he lit the lamp twice the next game.
Now it seems he is disgruntled with Perlini, having scratched him for 9 games.

Not sure I would want those guys specifically, but maybe Kirby Dach will be next and we could pry him out of there with CJ Smith

- IonSabres

Chicago is a mess. Nylander is 4th on the team in points, after Kane Debrincat and Strome. I can't see them trading forwards, unless they give up on the season.

Also, if the trade a good forward for a defenseman or prospect off our roster, it makes them look doubly foolish for the Nylander/Joker trade.

If they're trading for offense, get a receiver.

Even then, I would rather get another one-technique DT after the past two weeks.

- buffalofan19

I am done seeing Smith and Feliciano getting a penalty on every other drive

make trades to park their asses on the bench

Idk if there’s a good MLB available to trade for now
But u make a good point
Edmunds is out of position WAY too often
It may just be a case of him being so young & needing more time to learn
But if we could find a guy for the middle,
then he could use his athleticism more on the outside & wouldn’t have to think as much
It’s a big reason i wanted Devin White from LSU if he fell to us

Where we are at now,
i think they’ll give Edmunds the rest of the season & see how he grows
May have to address it in the off-season

Defense is fine, they had an off game. You can't win by trying to limit people to 13 points a game. It's the NFL and the best defenses still get lit up occasionally.

Go get some offense and your D won't have to be perfect every single game.

Frank Gore is a nice story but he's old and can't break anything. He's below the average NFL starting back. Pretty much every playmaker position on offense is below average. Gordon would help, but they need a wideout too.

now, i'm not a knowledgeable football person, but if the linebackers are constantly being blocked by the offensive line, isn't that not the linebackers' fault?

Anyone at the game yesterday that can confirm Lloyd Tacos was doing little to no business due to being insufferable, pandering, snowflakes?

Even if that happened, this offense still doesn't improve enough for them to win consistently. Like it or not, this team goes as its defense goes, and this defense got exposed at DT the past two weeks. Improving that should be priority #1, otherwise, even playoffs aren't a guarantee.

We also can’t fix every position
The O-line has been pretty decent overall
If they can stop the penalties, i think I’ll be happy

I don’t even think we need a Von Miller type
Get Shaq Barrett from Tampa
He’ll cost leas to get
And i think we’d be able to sign him at a reasonable cost

The Bills (like the Sabres) are still a work in progress though
Moves at multiple positions do need to be made
They all can’t be done now unfortunately

Both squads look like they’re at least playoff contenders to me
And that’s a nice step forward

right, so maybe edmunds was out of position or whatever, but how can we really know if he's being blocked by the offensive line when he really shouldn't be

Apologizing because of social media pressure is asinine. It doesn't get you anywhere. The side you apologize to will still come after you, and your defenders will stop backing you. I don't care if you post that OJ Simpson should be a keynote speaker for Domestic Violence Awareness, you're better off owning it.

That said, I didn't notice them at the game either way.

linebackers rushing the passer, yes

we don't have that

this kid is 3 or 4 yards off the line and 4 or 5 yards left or right of where the running back is going, when the running back is going up the middle

and this kid plays middle linebacker

too much responsibility for the kid, just let him focus on tackling

We aren’t gonna consistently score 30points a game with Allen right now,
no matter who the WRs & RBs are

So imo...
continue to strengthen the defense

Draft a #1 WR & a compliment to Singletary next year
Let them grow & develop with our young QB

And have the defense keep teams to 20pts or less while our young offensive skill players develop into good, consistent NFLers

The Bills are one of the teams in the league that blitz the least.

Edmunds has been okay in pass coverage. He was never supposed to be a run-stuffer. If you're linebacker is your best tackler against the run, it means your defense isn't very good.
