Somehow, adding that extra lane where the 90 and the 33 meet has made things worse.

100% worse cause the right lane wont move over till its "too late" then bottle necks

Yeah i want a beach. Or good hiking.

California has both but i cant afford it

- robz228

Its a big State there is plenty of other places you can get that then LA.
Have a buddy "near" San Jose who loves its big land wineries parks near by beaches arent too far. But he said with beaches they sound great when you dont live near one then when you do after about 5 times you stop goign to them

1) Taxes
1-A) Corrupted Govt Constantly ranked as the worst of all 50 states.
2) Cost of living is inflating at a higher rate than Salaries
3) Pay grade. Buffalo for some reason is still a place employers feel they can "Pay people less"
4) Weather is not worth the above three.5

- ImThatGuy

This is what keeps our cost of living so low here, though.

The same can be said for owning a boat in Florida. They say people up here on the lake use them about as often as people in Florida do because in Buffalo you only get so many nice days so you take advantage of as many of them as you can. In Florida, you take the nice days for granted.

I don't think I've had to do the daily drive through there since it was all finished up. I used to commute from S. Buff to Getzville but moved to the northtowns 3 years ago. I will say I do NOT miss that commute at all.

Honestly, I'd just ride a bike to work now when the weather was nice if I didn't have to get across Millersport Highway at 8 am when everyone is in too much of a hurry to get to the office. I'd rather not risk my life like that so I drive in even though it's 2 miles away.

I'm pretty sure 80% of the people you encounter that live in Florida were not born and raised there. Even the people I know that moved down there say that. It's alllllllllllll transplants.

Mike Grier had 23 points and was a -7 playing 14:22 a night on the second line with Drury when we went to the conference final.

I hated it. So many unbelievably talented players on that team, probably 10 top six forwards, and there was Grier eating up minutes, missing Drury wide open, shovelling the puck into the chest protector of the goalie on breakaways, and just generally doing nothing offensively.

Coaches think differently than fans. Sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong and end up fired. If the Sobotka experiment is to be called a success, at some point I feel he has to put up at least a few more points, but I bet Freddy doesn't see it that way.

- matty12345

Bc coaches measure the overall production of the line
Often, plays are made that don’t show up on the scoresheet that lead to goals, or at least chances

Someone was on here the other day with Skinner quotes saying he likes playing with Sobotka and how he’s doing things that help the line as a unit

I’m no Sobotka fan
No one criticized bringing him in more than me
But Ralph seems happy with the job he’s doing
And his own line mates are sticking up for him
So it doesn’t appear a change is gonna be made anytime soon

Have you ever googled "Florida Man" and then enter your birthday? I guess it was a popular thing to do a while ago. I got this:

So I love veggies and I would eat that but not instead of a burger. If I am in the mood for a burger, it needs to be animal based.

That right there shows the difference between that coach and the current one.

Sounded like Bylsma knew the X's and O's very well, but was a terrible communicator. I don't know how much Kruger knows X's and O's (he has to know some as players keep referencing his system) but he knows how to communicate.

I'm not saying you can get by without some technical knowledge and just have communication, not at all. What I am saying though is you can't get by with technical knowledge and no communication skills.

Leadership is more about communicating than it is knowing everything. You can hire system people to cover up for some of your weaknesses, but you can't be a leader that can't communicate performance expectations in a performance based industry.

Like Ted Nolan? “Ok boys, go make with the hockey.”

Btw I loved Nolan.

i did a week up and down the golf coast last summer to see how bearable the heat was and if i could stand living in it

stayed in 4 different places from all the way down in cape coral to north of tampa in new port richey

every single place we'd tell people we're from buffalo and they'd say oh yeah we're from rochester or something

it was remarkable

Taxes, gun laws, jobs (?), and some other BS. Those are the reasons I'd not go back.

But honestly. I love WNY. I'm from East Aurora. I love being there. I love the area. The people in WNY are amazing in comparison to most of the denizens here. Drivers here... oh boy. Don't get me started.

Critics have claimed that books such as this promote political complacency and a failure to engage with reality,
- jcragcrumple[3][4] and that "it isn't new, and it isn't a secret".[5] Scientific claims made in the book have been rejected by a range of critics, pointing out that the book has no scientific foundation.

"Byrne re-introduces a notion originally popularized by persons such as Madame Blavatsky ..."

So it's repackaged right-hand path magic. I'm all set
