Trade him to southern California as he may benefit from a more laid back atmosphere and can probably find somewhere to get into some rock climbing. Could you imagine Shaw in that body with the skill that he has, what a waste.

His production more than made up for it last season. And that was with a much more defensively inept Dcore than we have this season. Give it some time. Gus isn’t the reason we’re losing these close games. The team is playing very well and the wins will come. We’re gonna need a good skater/pt producer/PP specialist on defense. Without one our roster becomes weaker.

There is no market for him anyway. His agent was probably trying to get him a deal during the offseason somewhere else when Stan offered him the lowest he could based on the CBA. I agree, Nylanders play has made Perlini very expendible.

What say you about the timing of this?

With a bit of an optimistic side to losing Murphy I'm looking forward to see more of Maata and DeHaan.

Also, Keith had a great game vs Vegas and was taken off the powerplay and played heavy PK minutes. Opposite of what I was thinking with more focus for him on PP but seems like it worked out.

Let's see if we can keep killing penalties without Murphy, not having an automatic goal when we're in the box has been nice.
